Definitely notice a cooling effect
These really are cooling, which I need here in the desert of Arizona. The zipper seems really sturdy too. I've had this set for several months now w no issues. I would buy again. They're also very soft.

A chill way to snooze
Let's face it: in the battle against sweaty sleep, only the coolest will emerge victorious. Enter “Zipper Pillow Cases Standard - 100% Viscose Bamboo Pillowcase 2-Pack Zip Up Pillow Case Cooling…”, the latest combatant in my ongoing war against turning my bed into a sauna every night. They may have a strange name, but that does not keep them from being cool.First impressions? They're cooler than a cucumber in sunglasses. Slipping your head onto one of these is like planting your cheek on the other side of the pillow all night long—except you don't have to flip it. Magic? Science? Witchcraft? Whatever it is, it's working. The packaging promised an "oasis of chill in the desert of your bed," which seemed a bit over the top until I actually tried it. It's like each pillowcase is woven from threads dipped in minty freshness, minus the mint flavor, because that would be weird, right? After a week of testing, here's the scoop: they really do keep the heat at bay. I mean, if you're expecting an air conditioner for your head, you might be slightly disappointed—it's cool, not arctic. But for those who often wake up feeling like they've just wrestled a volcano, this is your ticket to a cooler morning.Durability? They've survived a few rounds in the washing machine with no loss of chill. I can't say the same for my old college tees, so that's a win. They're like the superheroes of pillowcases, battling the evil forces of warmth night after sweaty night. In terms of style, they're pretty sleek. Mine are in grey, which is just fancy talk for light grey, but it sounds cooler. Literally. They might come in other colors too, but why mess with a name like “Zipper Pillow Cases Standard - 100% Viscose Bamboo Pillowcase 2-Pack Zip Up Pillow Case Cooling…”?Bottom line: “Zipper Pillow Cases Standard - 100% Viscose Bamboo Pillowcase 2-Pack Zip Up Pillow Case Cooling…” have been a game changer for my sleep. They may not replace your AC, but they're a heck of a lot cheaper than dropping your home to igloo temperatures every night. Plus, no more flipping the pillow in desperation at 3 AM. That alone is worth the price of admission.

Nice fabric not great construction
The fabric is nice, one zipper wasn't sewn in well and the manufacturer has a white tag sewn into a side seam on the outside of the pillow case that sticks out about half an inch. Against the dark gray pillowcase the white label really popped. I cut it off but it still leaves a small amount showing and the remaining edge is a little rough. Not enough to affect use. The manufacturer tag should have been on the inside of the case or made to be unnoticeable. It's an inexpensive pillowcase. Sometimes you get what you pay for. It's ok but don't expect a high end product.

LOVE BAMBOO LINENS
These pillowcases are soft to the touch and especially comfortable for a hot-sleeper. They wear well and take only a light-iron (only because I'm a bit of a sheet snob).

Soft zippered
I got tired of pillow covers slipping off during the night. I tried a few different ones, but didn’t like the quality of the fabric until this pillowcase set. The fabric is very soft and the zipper is not noticeable at all. I quickly bought a second set. Only colors are gray and white, and I got gray because that matches my sheets and blankets. It’s a nice gray.

Perfect to keep the pillow secure
The media could not be loaded. So the reason why I bought this pillow is because I wanted to make sure that the building come out since this fellow it is a bit wonky and it’s just very fluffy. It’s not like the other ones this actually that’s what it says it’s very keep the pills nice and secure and it’s very soft.

Great quality but has a major drawback
I'm on a forever mission to find pillow covers that keep cool. For the most part these pillow cases are quality, soft, and do keep cool. The major drawback with these pillow cases is the discoloration that occurs immediately after use. The area that you rest your face/ head on takes on a darker coloration making your pillow look wet. I saw this issue mentioned in other reviews, but thought I'd try these out anyways because I've never personally experienced this issue.. On a personal note, I have great hygiene (shower before sleeping. etc.), don't have abnormal oily skin or hair, no makeup obviously, and haven't been sweating at night due to the cooler winter months we're in. This issue has also occurred on my partner's side pillow as well and she does hygiene/ body maintenance better than I do. I'm not sure what the causal is for the discoloration, but because of this I'd be hesitant to purchase again.

Feels like silk!
I re-ordered already. They are great. I feared they might shrink, so I ordered bigger but no, no shrinkage. And I don't follow the instructions. I wash them hot and dry them hot. No problem at all. I have to iron them just a tiny bit, but this is just me. My husband would take them without it.
