Does the job it is designed for, limited capacity but works well for this. Don't expect to cook a whole meal out of this, but in a pinch, it will keep you alive and toasty with small portions at a time. The max temperature is not that high, but it will heat up liquids well. I tested it by making espresso using a classic 2 piece, stove top espresso maker.
