I needed food safe plastic for outdoor vegetable container garden. These are great. Good price, quality construction, love they come with saucers. I bought more.

I love plants. I’m always propagating something, buying new plants, or repotting other plants. These pots are a great size for larger plants. They aren’t the thickest plastic and the plastic has a lot of marks along the seams, but they aren’t terrible and seem sturdy enough.The drainage trays clip into the bottom. The clips break easily and once they are on, they aren’t easily going to come off. The drainage trays are very shallow and almost a joke for such a large pot. I would not want to use these pots inside because I would worry they would leak out of the bottom. The pot does have three good sized drainage holes. I put a layer of rocks in the bottom as well to add drainage space and to make the pot heavier as well.These pots are great for things like tomatoes, large flowering planters or things like big succulents or cacti.

Thick plastic and easy for transplantation due to the wide lip

These plant pots are versatile and sturdy yet lightweight, making them easy to use, store, and relocate for weather or other needs. The attachable and detachable drainage tray/saucer is a great addition as well. I have other plant pots that came with saucers, but none of them snap on and off as easily as these do. This makes it very easy to move your potted plants without leaving behind any pieces you'll need to go back for; and the added area grounding it can also help your plants stay upright on a windy day.I love the fact that these pots are free from BPA and other toxins, making them safe for edible plants like my tomatoes and my small lemon tree. I have several plants I've been meaning to repot as they've grown too big for their current homes, and at about 8" high and 14" wide, these do the job quite nicely! I shouldn't have to worry about repotting these plant babes again for a while. The drainage holes are a nice size too, and they're well-placed.

These pots are great for growing small trees, herbs and vegetables. Although made out of plastic they're pretty sturdy with a modern design.The downside is drainage underneath, it has low capacity making it spill a lot if you slightly overwater your plant.If you have a green thumb, this is somewhat a good value for what you receive.

So I have LOTS of plants. I use various pot types (plastic, cement, ceramic, etc.) depending on the plants I'm putting in them, where they are going, etc.I'm not sure there are many things you can say or review on plant pots. Sturdiness, longevity, looks?- these are comparible in price to other plastic pots of this size (about $9 per pot regular price)- they feel pretty sturdy, comparing to plastic pots from Home Depot, they feel as sturdy if not more sturdy- they are your basic black plastic pots, look as good as any other basic black pots though they have ridges going down the sides so in my opinion look a bit better than a basic flat sided black pot- as for the ridges, these actually help some functionality: if you bury your pots slightly (or to some extent) since these have ridges, you can bury them to the exact same depth by using the ridges as a guide, a nice plus for uniformity!- they are apparently food safe, so good for certain veggies!As for longevity, like all things, time will tell. All in all, I like them.
