I really love this electric fireplace. It was a perfect fit and it really changed the whole ambience of my living room. The set up was a breeze. Basically plug it in, put some batteries in the remote and you’re good to go. I downloaded the app which was also easy to install and set up. There are four color choices for the lighting, five levels of brightness, you can adjust the temperature, the crackling sound and numerous combinations of using them all. My personal favorite setting is the polar, with a brightness of 4. It gives off pretty good heat, well at least enough heat to take the chill out of a room. The crackling sound isn’t all that natural, and the actual remote that it comes with is pretty flimsy, but I’m still giving it 5 stars because I really like it a lot and it’s much better than the candelabra and candles I was previously using. Price wasn’t bad either and I almost spent more at Wayfair.

Can't tell you how it is affecting our electric bill, haven't had it long enough. Aside from that it is a wonderful addition to our home. We are retired and have our own sewing/music rooms that are toasty due to location. The living room and kitchen are often cool. The Turbro allows us to spot heat that area when we are going to be there instead of raising the temperature throughout the house, making the kitchen/living room comfy and the other rooms too warm. The response time to request for the heat is fast. The sound is very nice. Just love it! It also occurred to me that should our furnace break down, it would be easy to pick up and move to where we are till the repairs can be made. Multi use for sure.

I would give it 5 stars if the flame's speed were adjustable. Don't like the base design, but it disappears well in my FP.

So I have a real wood burning fireplace that works but it's dirty, expensive to buy logs, and leaves residual soot on everything. So I wanted the convenience of faux wood burning logs for the convenience and ambience of a fire. This suits my needs. Granted, compared to a real fire it's somewhat fake but the ambience it creates is worth it. The crackling sounds are definitely not realistic. I liken the sound to the sound battery operated candles make. It sounds like crackling metal is the best way to describe it. I just keep it on the lowest sound level which helps. This was relatively inexpensive. Comes with a remote to control level of flames, heating element, and color of flames. The heater doesn't do much to heat my room but I really don't need that option. All in all it's a good product and I hope it lasts!

Looks beautiful and heats surprisingly well. The flames and logs look real, and the WiFi control makes it super convenient to use. Quiet, efficient, and perfect for adding warmth and ambiance without any mess. Highly recommend!

Wi-Fi Infrared Quartz Electric Fireplace Log Heater with Sound Crackling, Realistic Pinewood Logs, Adjustable Flame Colors, Remote Control, Thermostat, Timer, 1500W Black We do not like to burn wood because of all the emission particles that it sends to the air, polluting the interior of our place and depending on the wind outside, one can pollute all the neighborhood reaching at least 500 feet around. I must say that this fireplace is beautiful, however, it has some issues: 1. This fireplace, it is easy to plug in out of the box. The overall construction, and materials, are good. The power cord should be double in length of what it is. Not everybody has an outlet on the right side of the fireplace. My outlet is on the left, and this power cord does not have enough length to reach the left outlet. I had no option but to go against their recommendation, and use an electrical surge protected power cord. Obs: Do not use any other power cord if it is not an electrical surge protected. 2. When you turn it on, or off, you hear a beep sound and a light flashes on the front panel. There is no need for having the beep sound. They should have an option for the consumer to turn it off. I cannot turn it on when my dogs are snoozing because this will wake them up. 3. After you have the fireplace turned on, it is beautiful, the flames are great, even better than the pictures. However, I can hear a humming noise frequency coming from it, when the room is very quiet, and I am 10 feet away. This humming noise can affect my video recordings on the computer. I was hoping for a quiet fireplace. Should I have to expend more money to make an acrylic enclosed to block this humming noise? That will add at least another $150 to the cost of this project. 4. Yes, it has a noise cracking sound mode, and the good is that you can turn the cracking sound off. My wife said that it would drive her nuts to hear a constant cracking sound coming from it, after 5–10 minutes. For those people that do not mind the noise, and if you turn on the cracking sound, you probably won't hear the humming noise coming from this fireplace. 5. Now, let us talk about the heating mode. The issue is that when I turned the heating mode, a fan came out right the way, and that adds to the noise in the ambient. I am not sure if the fan turns off after a while because I turn it off the heating mode right the way. I must conclude that (if) this fireplace did not have these beep sounds or the humming noise frequency, it would be the perfect fireplace for us because it is beautiful, the controls all work, it is easy to operate, and the price is reasonable. Maybe the TURBRO, electrical engineers could read this review, and improve its internal controls to be more quiet, and give the ability to turn it off all the unnecessary novelties on/off beep sounds.

Put this in our fireplace where gas was not an option and it works great. Heats up our living room nicely and is pretty to look at.
