I love this bowl. I just got a single bowl. At first, my cat wasn't sure about it, but now it's perfect. The food slides around in the dish a bit, making him eat a little less quickly which is good because otherwise he'll devour his food, drink water, then throw up. This higher bowl w/ a slight angle, and slick surface works great! I notice some say the unit slides around, but I haven't had any problem w/ that (tho it's sitting on a mat, which probably helps). However, it does come with some 'stickies' that you can adhere to the bottom to help keep it in place if you want.

Somewhat flimsy. But it serves the purpose

I was cleaning up after one cat or another nearly every day as they'd eat and then immediately vomit their meal. So frustrating, as I knew they hated the experience more than I did. Then I saw these bowls. I ordered them immediately. I knew they would work before they even arrived as I elevated and tipped the bowls I already had and nobody threw up! But these are well-made and sturdy. Cats enjoy eating out of them, and no more mess. Thank you to whoever came up with this.

I read that regular bowls cause cats to shovel food in their mouths, which leads to more throw-up events and other issues. All I know is that my cat no longer drops food all over the floor, and she hasn't had a hairball or throw-up since using this bowl.The bowl is so-so on sturdiness. You have to be certain that the bowl clicks into the base, or the bowl too easily comes our.I just pick up the full bowl and stand, rather that detach and reattach. It's light enough.Very happy with this bowl!

These are great if you a cat that eats too fast and then vomits or if your cat vomit right after eating in general. We’ve been using them for a few months and my cat as only vomit twice and normal she’d eat so fast she’d throw up at least twice a week. Only issue I see is they scratch easy.
