I’ve been using it for around 3 years now. It’s a great product, however my only problem with it is that it comes unplugged very easily and can be very annoying when you have a hard drive connected through the adapter and it gets unplugged by the slightest movement. Overall a good product though and it does everything it says and it has lasted 3 years with no signs of it failing yet.

It’s a good hub, it transfers anything I need pretty quickly. I’ve not tried plugging an HDMI cable in it, but i think it will be alright. It can get a little hot, but I’ve haven’t had a problem with that yet. Over all this was a good purchase and I recommend it. The only reason I won’t give it 5 stars is because the space gray color doesn’t completely match the color of the MacBook, which bothers me a little.

I had to manually clear my P-RAM to get this to work. Struggled with it not recognizing drives, cards or attachments for hours before figuring it out.After doing a P-RAM clear on restart, it has worked like a charm for my 2017 Macbook Pro w/ Touchbar.

I like this adapter... every port works, the fit and build quality are first rate, and it does what it claims to do.But when it's attached to my Macbook Pro, the audio output dies until it is removed. This is a big issue for me as I need to use Hangouts frequently to communicate, and I always have to undock this adapter beforehand in order to have working audio.

Works perfect looks great , just make sure you realize that with case/skin you need to use an adapter with the extension because it won’t fit with it on !

Not really big into Mac equipment but since its required by work, I might as well make the most of it. Since MacBook's don't have hardly any ports, this is a nice addition to expand on their otherwise craptastical platform and turn it into a more functional computer. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking to expand on their MacBooks

I have to be honest that I was impressed with the colour and the overall construction, however, the functionally leaves a lot to be questioned. First of all, it did not survive more than a month before it broke (conveniently​ after the return window). Bear in mind that I used it sparingly. After about the 5 use, normal thumb drive transfers the problems started showing. On my sixth use, I was trying to transfer files from the SD card reader and my Bluetooth became erratic. My mouse started to lose it's connection every other 20 minutes. I would never have thought it was the Hub but after removing it, my MacBook Pro 2017 became normal again. I did not think much of that until the 8th use, which was like the 4th time I used HDMI port when the colours all went out of whack.the first 3 times were fine. I went and borrowed another Hub and everything was fine. So, this hub is broken and unreliable.For now, it gets a one star, I have reached out to the seller and will revise my review accordingly when they address the issue.

I bought the Elando and found the ports extremely tight-fitting. It was nearly impossible to unplug a device without pulling the entire unit off the computer. Even worse, the SD card port did not work at all. I returned the device to Amazon and bout this one, called "Aerofara." It works great in all respects,

Loving this product, I fits nicely unless you have a case so beware, I had to intentionally break my case to get it to fit which wasn't a problem.

Schlank, Farbe passt klasse zu spacegrau von Apple. Macht EIGENTLICH was es soll, wenn da nicht ein mittelschweres ABER dazukommen würde, was sehr schwer wiegt. Sobald ich den Hub in mein MacBook Pro stecke setzt die MacBook Wifi-Antenne sofort aus, und das w-lan funktioniert nicht mehr. Das ist sehr ärgerlich!Ich vermute, dass das gegebenenfalls mit der nicht vorhandenen Abschirmung der Hubs zu tun hat. Sprich, wenn man den Hub im W-LAN betreiben möchte: zumindest bei mir ; keine Chance.

It seems to run hot even when the macbook is fully charged. I'm not sure if it's just a "dumb" hub and can't throttle the power ... but hubs I've had in the past don't seem to run warm or hot when sitting idle.I'm going to have to look into this some more, but it's been getting the job done for me.I wish it had a thunderbolt connection though.
