Really cute but it doesn’t take long before you can’t get a needle through it because of the adhesive.

after embroidering, the fabric cannot be washed, it remains so badly stuck, very disappointed :(

The first thing to note is that these are quite small, and I am not sure how one would stitch all the design features. I suppose I should have realized they would be small, given the measurements in the description. Then again, I am just picking up embroidery after a, hm, 60+ year hiatus. Added to that, the backing is hard to put a needle through. Another review said the backing didn't come off, but just an initial test suggests that it will dissolve. I wanted these to use for updating, mending, repairing or otherwise enlivening my wardrobe, as I am not and never have been inclined to throw away clothes because of a small spot, tear or pull. I am not sure if I will be able to actually use these for that or not. And no, after a warm water wash in the washer, the backing did not dissolve. So my garment is ruined, and my rating drops to 0 stars.

I put these on my favorite shirt, embroidered it then tried to “wash it away” as stated in description. Well this crappy stuff ruined my shirt. Now I’ve got a gloppy sticky mess with no idea how to get it out. See the photo..BEWARE, WILL RUIN YOUR GARMENT.

I had the worse time removing the paper after stitching. The glue stayed on even after being in the washing machine
