GREAT FOR BASS
These are an amazing piece of tech if you're looking to cause noise pollution, although I have one minor issue with these that I can hear a kind of crackling noise now this could be me 100% although this has been going on for a while and there's no loose wires or loose sockets or anything but be aware this could be an issue. despite this, I would recommend these if you like bass or hip hop as the sound does really come out and you can really feel it.

Worth! Decent Bass NOT PUNCHY BOOMY BASS
The product is worth the price. Don't expect the punchy bass, its decent. TBH the wires are kinda short. I bought these to actually make a virtual surround system, it serves the purpose. This product is mainly for students/ people who don't or maybe cant spend much money on computer speakers.

Cheap and Rubbish
I wasn't looking for particularly flashy speakers so I took a chance on these no-name cheap speakers I fitted them to my PC. The cable was short and I wasn't able to place a speaker either side of my monitor. When I turned them on there was a constant buzzing noise that got rather annoying very quickly. The speaker was also very crackly and was very sensitive to interference. They felt very light and the materials used felt very cheap and delicate. They said they were listed at £24.99 but when I brought them they were only £9.99 so I guess there was a reason why they were reduced. I'm going to go for something more on brand like logitech or creative. I suggest whoever is reading this do the same.

They Do their job well.
This would be a 5 if it wasn’t for the sub being a bit scratchy. I am a bit of an audio file and it looked like while being delivered, someone threw it into the van and displaced the magnet on the driver. Sounds better when broken in. Overall good set of speakers.

Don’t buy
Worst speakers I’ve ever used, bought these for my pc. There’s a constant buzzing noise when they’re powered on with no sound playing, have to turn on music loud to drown it out. Not worth the money, buy something else

Great for clearing off desk, great size and loud.
For the price, these are great little speakers. I was worried they wouldn't be loud enough, but I'm very impressed. I know others here have said they're not very loud, but with my office for open at home at full volume the music sounds great one the first floor (office is 2nd).The bass obviously isn't great, but I've also been using a larger Logitech sub forever. As for the mid and high range, I'd give it a solid 7/10, for a $16 unit it's great. No distortion for me running from a $10 Amazon USB DAC (highly recommend if you have a feedback/static issue). Also note I'm plugged into rear USB 3.0, which is more amperage than 2.0 - can't comment on 2.0 performance. My suggestion would be if your looking to downsize, keep your existing sub and use these for your midrange. I couldn't take my huge Logitech at any longer, too big.

Good, with tweaks
I kept my expectations on par with the 20 dollar price tag and the 5V USB power. I'm pretty picky when it comes to sound quality, and the X7s are actually quite good for casual listening, but you must tweak the sound with EQ. If your source does not have EQ, the speakers sound very tinny, and the bass is lacking. The cables are on the short side, and you have to use your own USB power source, as a wall adapter is not provided. I use these speakers in my home office to listen to music while working, and they are actually very good for this purpose. I use a freeware equalizer on an android tablet, and use plenty of bass boost, and decrease the levels slightly at 3kHz. Just keep in mind that the satellites stand at only four inches tall. These are small speakers, and they sound like small speakers. However, again if you provide the right EQ, the "subwoofer" handles the boosted output surprisingly well, and nicely rounds out the sound quality. This would be a five-star product if it had bass boost built-in and satellites were tuned better and if the cables were a little longer and better quality. A wall charger would have been good too, but that would add to cost. I will be using these nearly every day, and I'm happy with them.

Just be honest with what you're buying and why - These work as advertised.
Let's be honest. You're not getting these because you want the pinnacle of audio fidelity. You're getting these because they're the size of a can of soup and you've probably bought cans of soup that cost more. All that aside, I have to say, these (admittedly ADORABLE speakers) actually sound halfway decent for what they are. They're a legitimate 2.1 system where the sub is actually there to serve a purpose. The construction is ridiculously... ahem... "cost-effective" (I think my MacBook Pro weighs more than the entire set and it's all plastics and very thin rubber). I cranked the volume up to max just to see what they could do - it was hilarious to watch the sub skip around as it's too light to hold itself to the desk when heavy bass hits crop up. The passive radiator on the back of the sub enclosure does actually serve to extend the frequency range a bit, but the little 2 1/2" driver struggles to create sound that is AUDIBLE - it simply doesn't move the kind of air other systems do to enhance bass. It's funny - you can actually feel it struggle to reproduce those tones if you put your hand on it. It's kinda impressive considering it runs on a 5v USB 3.0 connection. It DOES get pretty loud but over 50% or so volume, you're introducing a significant amount of distortion and removing a significant amount of low end. The power button seems to be an air leak so you might hear some "chuffing" at higher levels. But again - keep in mind what you're paying for this thing.I own several sets of honest-to-god studio monitors that do everything and more than these do - so why did I get them? Well, I gotta say, cheaply made as they are... they do look nice. A bit like a shrunken set of Yamaha HS8's. I love the white speaker cone and they're dead-simple to use - one volume, one power switch. No frills, no nonsense. I think I might end up trying to replace all the drivers and turning this into a little project setup just to see what I can get away with and if it improves anything. If I screw something up... well, I'm out literally less than a sandwich and drink at Subway.Great little 2.1 to use as a quiet project set. Definitely an improvement over laptop speakers, not quite as portable as my BassJump USB subwoofer, but then again, I didn't giggle like a child on Christmas pulling that out of the package either.

Okay so I was excited about this product based from the reviews it had.. now, sadly I was let down when only one of the speakers worked. The one that works sounds well but I don't get that quality surround sound.--update--After some time I was contacted by an employee for the bad review and he was super nice and he worked things out and I got a new one. I standby the great audio quality and the price is amazing. Not to mention the great customer service and their care. Simply amazing product. 10/10 would recommend to anyone
