Muggie Maggie

I think that this book is a really good book. I think it shows tone when I read it. I also think that it shows creativity and time that when into this book. Muggie Maggie is a book that I know that I will read a lot of times, and will enjoy it very much each one. I recommend this book to anyone who feels like they cannot do something, someone who needs encouraging, or maybe someone who does not think that it is possible. When I read this book, I feel like I can do anything after I read it. That it why I thing that this book is a very good book, deserves to be rated this well.

My granddaughter was reading this book in school and loved it so much she wanted her own copy of the book for her own. This is a really cute story about Maggie discovering her own reasons for wanting to learn cursive after she Initially refuse to learn it

Witty, charming and funny. About a girl who won't do cursive and how it effects. Truly shows the thoughts of children, not just a babyish interpretation of them. I recommend this along with the rest of Beverly Cleary, except for one called Otis Spofford which I did not like, but, every writer makes at least one bad book. Her books make even reluctant readers love books. This novella is 68 pages, and a great one for bright youngsters.

It is a pretty short book. The storyline is good but it did not hold a 7-year-old's attention. Probably best for ages 8-10. Basically Maggie does not want to do cursive. My 9-year-old liked it, the only reason I'm giving it four stars is because it is a little short and my 7-year-old did not enjoy it. Maybe it is just my certain 7-year-old? Maybe other 7-year-olds will love, love, love this book? It's pretty good.

No rips, bent pages or markings. Seemed like hardly any use was giving to it. Awesome!

My students loved this book because it was engaging, even for a virtual read aloud.

Easy read for my son. It was a mandatory read for his class. He was able to read half of the book within and hour.

Ms. Cleary knows how children think.
