pitaka Pixel Fold Case, Slim & Light Magnetic Case for Google Pixel Fold, Aramid Fiber Made [MagEZ Case 3 - Fusion Weaving Overture]

Fit is good except for one small area to the left of the front speaker which I ended up filling down. Magnet works great with magsafe devices.The case feels great in the hand.

I will start by saying that I returned this case, so why did I leave a 5-star review? The only reason I returned it was lack of hinge protection which I new when I bought it. I'm not going to fault a design for not having a feature it was not intended to have. It is a very high quality case and it is made very well. I did not have any of the fit issues other people reported so perhaps that has been corrected. The built in MagSafe magnet worked very well and I had no issues with wireless charging. If you're looking for a slim high quality case then look no further! I can be pretty clumsy with my phone and the thought of banging up the nice hinge on such an expensive phone is not something I want to risk so I decided for a case that protects the hinge.

I was really excited to put this case on my Pixel Fold, but that excitement has quickly turned to disappointment...The slim profile and the overall feel of the material are nice. The soft touch matte coating that encompasses the outside of the case adds a nice amount of grip, and the thin build leaves the Pixel Fold feeling almost the same it does without a case on.However, there are a number of glaring issues with the case that make it a poor option for this folding phone. Firstly, the fitment of the front screen piece of the case is very loose and misaligned (even when using the included tape strip on left side) with large gaps between the frame of the phone and the inner portion of the case. This leads to clicking noises when opening and closing the folding screen, and makes the phone feel almost shaky in the hand. The big gaps between the case and the front screen also cause numerous missed gesture inputs (mostly the back gesture, but sometimes swiping up or down), which severely hampers the front screen user experience of the Pixel Fold. Furthermore, the poor fitment also creates a raised lip around the inner screen on both the front and back pieces of the case, which make it difficult to completely close the phone without repositioning either the front piece or back piece of the case.Overall, I had much higher expectations for this very pricey phone case, but the poorly engineered front piece of the case really make this a waste of $80.Edit 3/27/24: Pitaka reached out to me to make things right with the concerns that I had with this phone case. I appreciate the exceptional customer service, and will purchase from them again!

Good: The case has a sleek, modern, minimalist look. Feels and looks much slimmer than the Google case. The MagSafe is very solid and does not impede wireless charging. The fit is about perfect.Bad: This will probably not do much to protect your phone except from scratching, but protection wasn't really the intent of this caseUgly: The price was high for this case (worth no more than $50), and much too high to be sent a used case. I can understand sending out returned products, but at least refurbish them and ensure it's at least presentable. The packaging smelled strong of cat urine. They couldn't even be bothered to replace the adhesive on the case, which was riddled with dirt.

I've had three of these Pitaka for Pixel Fold cases, and all of them have the same issue. They all have poor placement around where the mic and speaker are cutout. It alters the microphone quality a lot. The other issue is when closing all three of them, one side touches before the phone is closed, which makes it feel extremely cheap. Other cases don't have this issue. All of my other Pitaka cases are fantastic, but it is clear that no one at Pitaka has tried their case on an actual Pixel Fold.

Its not a bad case but for the price, its not worth it. - worked with customer service to address the issue, they're still a great company and will continue to buy other cases from them.- Fit - not great it used adhesive to slightly, keep it on, however, the fit is a bit to loose, it needs to be tighter. Everytime, I open the phone I can slight pop, as the case gets slightly pushed off.- Function is good, if I dropped it would do okay. It doesnt cover the hinge; as its the heaviest part of the phone and would fall there first; theres no protection.- Looks Great; I appreciate the smooth carbon fiber pattern.

Received a used case that was a different colour at first but seller was prompt in sending a replacement. The replacement was brand new and the fitting is perfect
