Fun and easy craft for the kids

The holes in the beads were too small for the our VBS kids to string them. We ended up having to purchase pony beads. We used the cord but had to put the cross on ahead of time. This project would be best for older kids and adults.

Because the holes on the crosses and beads were small the chord frayed a lot and had to keep cutting after each bead to be able to put another bead on. Some crosses were broken and their holes were not clean so the chord snagged.

These are terrible! Don’t waste your money! I bought these for my kindergarten class and was so disappointed. The holes in EVERY SINGLE wooden cross was much too small to allow the supplied cords to go through. I had to make the holes bigger with a small tool but that caused many of the wooden crosses to split apart. The cords themselves are awful - they are coated with a slick plastic so they don’t stay tied - knots just slip apart. I would love to return these but I had to use some - it was too late to order more. Thank goodness I had some much better quality cross necklace kits from purchased last year. I was able to give those to most of the students.

Most of the holes aren't big enough for the string to go through

Less than half of the crosses had holes through which the string fit. As a result, I had to individually clear out the tiny holes in most of the crosses with a tiny screw driver. Had I not checked this before presenting to a class of thirty plus kindergarteners as a craft, there would have been chaos. In addition, two crosses were damaged so I had to order more so everyone has the same project.If you are looking for an awful form of self punishment, order this craft. If you dislike someone, order this for them. If you want to turn someone away from Christianity, order this. If you want an easy craft for little ones that requires little to no preparation, then keep looking. This is not for you.

The price and over all quality was good. We cut the strings in thirds and were able to make a lot of bracelets. The only downside was the holes in the beads are very small which made it difficult to string the beads. We had to trim the end of the string a couple times to help fit through the holes. This was difficult to do with a large group of kids.

While the product looks nice, the crosses are nearly impossible to get the string through. The hole in the cross is too small and the string is too thick. You end up damaging the crosses trying to get the string through them. Do not recommend for any age group.
