These work great! Completely eliminates the friction that causes blisters. When you use a bit of chamois for a shoe that rubs, it will make it less abrasive, but you can still feel it. My first time using one of these, I couldn't feel that the problem shoe strap was even still there anymore! It basically IS a blister that you apply so your skin doesn't need to make one. Also works well to protect a sore or sensitive spot, like a healing scar, from irritation.

Very helpful product. It lasted through a long day-hike and kept my shoe from rubbing on a swollen area I have due to arthritis. I wish it were a tad more adhesive so I could use it on a callus on my arch but that's a hard area to form to. Overall, I recommend these.

I tried these for my long runs, which are 20+ miles. Maybe they aren't made for that kind of distance but they caused more damage than good. Not only did they fail to protect the hot spots from becoming blisters they caused blisters on the skin near application site. I used them one time and threw the rest of the pack away.
