This has made life so much simpler. Every screw top I tried opened easily. Now I wished I had purchased one before arthritis starting creeping in my hands. If the handle was bit longer it would be perfect hence the 4 star rating.

I was looking for a jar opener that would be easy for a senior to use and this is definitely the one! Easy to use, does the job well - I would highly recommend.

The problem I have with this item is that the teeth just scratch the outside of metal jars. They don't hold on to metal at all. I still end up having to hit jars on the edge of the counter. It looks like it will work okay on plastic lids with grippers.Also, the plastic piece for breaking seals has yet to work for us. I don't know if it's the plastic, the thickness of it, or what, but it doesn't do anything even with a lot of pressure. It is also reasonably large for our already full kitchen, especially considering it's low functionality.I wish I'd sent the product back right away, but hoped it would work on more things.

My husband ordered this for me bc of arthritis hands. However I have not been successful even once. He gets it open most every time. He says I don’t get the concept?

Got this gift for my 73 yr old mom and she cannot believe how amazing and simple this is to use. No squeezing, no effort. Priceless as her hands are not as strong as they once were. So happy!!!!!!! Getting one for a dear friend and myself!

The picture says it all. It worked after I adjusted how I placed the device over the lid.Very smooth motion to open the jar.It feels like it will last for 5,or more years.I like it's portability so it can be easily stored.

Works great and with ease but due to the metal blades it tears the metal lids leaving them sharp and not safe
