Q: Hi! i just received this as a gift! very cute! how do i light up the lights?

They hook to a battery however I am trying to find a switch that can turn them on and off.

Q: How exactly are the lamp posts lit? Does this kit contain everything needed to light them up? All I see in the pics is 2 lamp posts with wires attache

The kit does not come with everything to light up the lamp posts--you need some type of power source. I got the lamp posts to light up by putting the wires on opposite ends of a battery (Just so I could see if they lit up, I didn't come up with any way to use them in a more practical manner). However, I should warn you that the light is EXTREMELY faint and almost undetectable unless you are in a pitch-black room.
