My dear boy was recently diagnosed with cancer of the jaw and as a result is only able to eat broths, purees, etc. Although he has several shallow oval-shaped dishes as well as deeper elevated bowls, both have presented challenges. This dish is just perfect. The larger flat surface allows me to spread the purees out and he can lap them up comfortably without his mouth or whiskers touching the sides. He is eating more enthusiastically and finishing his meals now.0

Los platos llegaron en buen estado y son de buena calidad. Mi gato se acostumbró fácilmente a ellos. Pero sí hay que manejarlos con cuidado porque son frágiles.

These are very well-made and are great quality, thick ceramic, not fragile junk at all. It came very carefully packaged in thick styrofoam as well. My only complaint is that the bowl is very shallow and doesn’t hold a lot of water. I remedied this by putting a regular cereal bowl on top and using that for their water dish, that way it’s still a raised dish. I didn’t like the idea of turning it upside down and putting water in the bottom part because they won’t drink from it once it gets even slightly low due to whisker fatigue. All in all it is a great value and my cat loves the raised dishes. No more vomiting.

My kitty tends to throw up food sometimes but after getting these I've noticed it's significantly reduced (she tends to be an avid eater lol)
