Makes attachment to shoulder or neck strap so simple and reliable
Don't know how I got along without these before I bought them for all of my binoculars and monoculars. Eliminates struggling to put those thin little straps you get with your Optics on to the device and then keeping it tied on and keeping it from getting knotted and snarled Etc these are great. Even using them on a pair of 15x70 Celestron Sky Masters

Working well for harness
I received a harness with a recent binoculars purchase and it included cheap connectors that were not at all durable. I did not trust them to hold well enough, so I bough these. So far, they work great and securely attach the harness.

Works for Vortex Diamondback Binos
It was difficult, but I did get them to work for my Vortex Daimondback binos. First I sent a strong carpet thread through the Bino attachment opening from the bottom. Then I put the thread through the connector hole without the metal ring. Then I sent the thread back through the top of the Bino attachment opening. I wrapped the loose end of the thread around the spool (so it doesn't cut your fingers) and pulled hard. Then I used a set of vise grips to pull the strap connector through, a little more than half way. Then I sent the metal ring through the open hole so the two ends of the straps lay flat against each other. But it was not easy!!

Robust connection between binoculars and binocular harness.
I have a Nikon harnness that came with thin leather straps to connect the harness to the binocs. These failed the first time I used them. So I ordered a set of the Vortex Connectors. They are sturdy nylon with metal grommets and a key-ring-like connector that goes through the grommets on the strap. The snap hooks on the harness clip into the rings. The straps took a little coaxing to get through the slots on my Eagle Optics 8x42 binocs, but once installed slide freely in the slots. This appears to be a very robust connection between the harness and the binocs. I would recommend them highly and will be getting my wife a pair for her harness.

Can now use binocs with any strap
I have binoculars that I love, but the holes in the binoculars would only accommodate the small strap it came with. That strap wore out quickly. I added this connector set to my binoculars, and can now easily switch between various harnesses and shoulder straps. At first, it was a little hard to figure out how to add these to my bins. Because there is a slit at each end, I initially thought the metal ring must fit through this. But the slit was obviously too small. Instead, work the tip of the metal ring through the pin-hole at the end of the slit, as you would work a key onto a ring-keychain. It was fairly easy.

These are very good quality and easy to use and little hard to get on at first but once on can be moved around and attach easaly. Also are not bulky or to small for the clips to fit on.

Started fraying and cracking after about a year
Bought April 2020, and they are badly frayed and cracking/splitting as of this year. They got fairly heavy, almost daily use (I'm a birder), but certainly were not abused. They worked fine on my Vortex Diamondback 10x50, but it's already time to replace them (I'm going to give the Op/Tech Adapt-Its a try this time). I live in Colorado, which is a pretty dry climate, so perhaps that has shortened their life span. Four bucks is certainly a pittance for a year's worth of usage, but no doubt there are better options...

Functions exactly as expected and has held up through use and abuse.

Entra muy justo lo que le da buen soporte, pense que el material seria de mala calidad por como lo senti pero ha funcionado perfectamente
