The scent of these are milder than others and tend not to annoy my dogs. Package has two which worked out well for having two dogs. Units came in a tin with a screw on lid and a comb. The tin is nicely made and the comb is plastic and metal. Not sure the comb is needed as most dog owners would already have a comb. The tin is nice to keep the collar from evaporating the scent. As we are past flea and tic season, we have stopped using them. As other commenters said, the locking mechanism does tend to slip so you need to check them as they can slip enough that the collar could come off. Probably start next spring with a new set for the summer.

Honestly this was a waste of money. Most of the flea and tick collars have a scent. So you know there is actually some type of treatment on the product. But this item just smelled like plastic. My snorkie still had fleas and kept on biting his ass up.

We have a lot of animals coming in and out being a rescue mom. I was losing myMind & savings trying to keep the fleas out. A godsent told us to try these and 2 months later NO fleas. They work.

There's a reason they give you a flea comb, I guess. They're hoping they'll take care of the fleas yourself. Gave my dog a flea bath 3 days before I put this on, hoping it would be the last time for a while that I have to do something other than natural to help take care of them.3 days later and fleas are all around the collar. They literally don't care about whatever 'natural' ingredients are supposed to repel them.Only positive thing I can say about it is that it smells nice, but that's no replacement for doing what it's supposed to do. Would give it 0 stars if I could, and hoping I can get a refund, because it does actually nothing.

Dogs still got ticks and ended up getting fleas.

I bought these after I saw a couple of ticks on my dogs. They've never had ticks before, so I bathed them, removed the ticks (because these collars are used to PREVENT ticks, not to get rid of the infestation), and put the collars on. It's been a few weeks now, and no more ticks. However, I did purchase these "all natural" collars because one of my dogs is allergic to living, and it did cause hair loss and rash around her neck. My other dog had no reaction to them.
