When i first saw these when searching for new swimming shorts thought they were aimed at the more posing end of the market. However, after realising this was the only alternative to net lined shorts i thought i'd give them a try.Super happy i did because they are truly extremely comfortable. Never liked the the old kind with net liner and the over short always made out of that plastic material you'd normally only tolerate on waterproof jackets. Hated the way they always felt like you were wearing a laundry netbag covered by a shopping bag. Fine when in water but uber uncomfortable at all other times, especially the post swim cling.I liken these to the feel of a light pair of pyjama shorts pre, during and post swim; post swim they hang just like a normal pair of shorts. The only issue I've found is that the pockets hold stuff so naturally and comfortably that i nearly dived in the pool with my phone; ok lowered my old fat man body into the pool with phone. Also the outer short material definitely looks like it'll last a long time with little degradation.Anyways i thoroughly recommend and will personally never go back to the old style.

I got these as a surprise for my boyfriend when I took him to a spa. They fit really nicely on him, and he particularly liked the undershorts as this is an area he usually chafes, so it prevented his skin from becoming sore. They were a great fit and great length too. The pocket was a great addition too. Great trunks and I'm glad he loves them.

Will never go back to scratchy uncomfortable swimming shorts with net liners. Kept everything neat & tidy with no discomfort. Was able to go from beach/pool on holiday without changing shorts without rashes or sores. Brilliant.

These shorts are simply great. They have a water repellent outer layer, which keeps water off you very well, and you see the water beading when it splashes onto the shorts. There are 3 pockets on the outer layer and a further pocket on the inner layer.The 2 side pockets are zipper pockets to keep your valuables in, which work ok, but I found that a few times the zip snagged on the outer material covering the zip, so I had to fiddle to get the zip open again. The inner pockets are a good size so will carry your valuables around.The rear pocket has a Velcro tab on it to keep the pocket closed and has a small drain hole/rivet to let any water out, but in my case the rivet came off when I was sitting in my car. Time will tell if the material stays true so will come back and update if needed.There is a bright orange drawstring at the waistband which holds well.The inner lining is a spandex type lining, compression type so you have no need to wear underwear, and unlike many other swim shorts that have mesh "pouch" to keep your bits in which can get sore after a while, these are very comfortable over a prolonged wear (I actually wear these shorts at home, all day every day - well, these and others in the same style)These are just simply put, an excellent pair of shorts

I gave these to my husband to try being more of a fitness fanatic and he even though these are swim shorts has found they a more suited for the gym. He likes the built in compression liner which offers support and the act the outer layer is baggy which is ideal when doing squats with weights etc. He said swim wise they were a bit on the baggy side but for gym and running they were ideal. The fabric is very breathable and moisture wicking and more water resistant than waterproof.

This is the second pair of these shorts Ive have to send back..With the first pair some idiot had stitched over the zipped pockets so you couldn't get your hand in...Now study the photo... a neat design feature with a OUTER THIGH phone pocket easily accessable (you'd think) by discreetly lifting the OUTER LAYER... I've now had two pairs where the phone pocket is INSIDE the lining on the left side . This means to use this 'neat feature' you need to plunge your arm up to the elbow down the front of your shorts. NOT A COOL LOOK, I bet Daniel Craig doesnt have a pair. Stick to Speedos.

These shorts feel lovely out of the packaging... even before wearing. The colourways are great, and the materials - although very synthetic - are light and sleek.Wearing these for casual use is great... I spent a lot of time over Summer in shorts, both in UK and abroad (Germany, Portugal) and these were great for combined casual/ beach/ pool days.The inner lining is lovely, and actually the inner pocket is brilliant for your wallet/ phone, and keeps the regular two pockets free for keys/ etc.The two main hip pockets are spacious and have zippers, and are more than capable of holding a large smartphone and still being zipped.Swimming is great in these also - they don't feel at all restrictive, and they also feel comfortable when getting out of water - which is great! They dried fast too (transition from sea to beach to beach bar) in about 25 mins... then again, it was around 42c!Really happy with these - much better than some of the major brands I've had for the same cost. Would recommend!
