Is this candy chewable or is it rock hard

Suppose to be hard on the outside and softer on the inside. The last batch I got was very hard. Not like lifesaver, hard, but harder than skittles.

This is being advertised as a 2.5 lb of candy - but the picture of the bag says 1.8. How much candy will I get???

If these were not at a premium price they would be dangerous! this offering at Amazon is the best I have found for the price. These were a favorite of mine when I was a child. The shapes & colors are fun the flavors differ per fruit, and the candy has a sort of crunchy shell & a chewy inside.
