Nice loud sound
The bell did not come with the hanging attachment, as pictured. An email to the manufacturer referred me back to Amazon. They were unwilling to help in any way. Other than the hanger, the bell is just as advertised. Nice loud sound.

Beautiful large bell
I really, really like this bell. It is bigger than I thought, & that was great. and the sound is nice as well as loud enough for me to use it as my door bell. It shipped from India. I have traveled India and they do make beautiful and great quality brass items there, so I was not surprised to find out that the bell was coming from there; I trusted the quality would be top notch. The only reason for the 4 instead of a 5 star rating is that I feel the rings that hold the striker to the bell dome and the one that holds the rope, should be of a sturdier/thicker metal and the rope should be polyester, jute, nylon in black because the cotton white rope will show dirt immediately. I did scotch guard the rope, so hopefully it will not hold in the soil to soon. Otherwise, I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend to others.
