We recommend use in green young coconuts following instructions on package to get coconut water easily. But it can also be used in peeled/dehusked coconuts.

How to avoid to get hurt while I use it?

Be sure to point the tool against the table where the coconut is resting and place your hand on coconut to hold it while you pop top off in the green husk coconut. For white peeled, use area at the bottom to push the tool while coconut are kept above something.
