Modern Life is Rubbish (30th Anniversary Limited National Album Day 2LP Orange Vinyl)

Great album, and good pressing of this. Delivered well packaged and on time.

One of their best albums. And they did a lot of great albums.

Firstly, unlike other reviews, there are no issues with my pressing at all. It's perfect.Onto the record itself, this was when Blur revealed themselves to be a helluvalot more than just a bandwagon jumping baggy band. The chasm between this and Leisure is enormous. Really, it's the first part of a trilogy of LPs in which any song from MLIR, Parklife and the Great Escape are all interchangeable. Very clever. A masterpiece. My good friend Sammy spotted this first and he wasn't wrong. Ignore the revisionist 20 something bloggers of late, 13 is not Blur's best LP. If you want to look for something comparable to the immaculate Parklife as a lost classic, MLIR is it.

I saw the other reviews and almost got put off, but because I wanted this album anyways I decided to bite the bullet and buy it anyways. So far I’ve had no issues at all, there is a couple of small damages on the cover sleeve but nothing major, and the records themselves play absolutely fine.

Bad packaging, the cover was a bit damaged.

The album it's self is amazing. However, ordered from here and first track on side A & B skipped and jumped. Tested my record player with other albums and with the second disk in this album and it all worked fine.Sent it back for a replacement. The second one I received also did the same, so have sent for a refund. I'm guessing this is a faulty batch of this album. I'll just go to record shop for purchase instead and make sure they test it in the shop while I'm there.

This record keeps jumping/skipping (mainly the first couple of songs on each side). I returned this record and had it replaced, and it's still happening. Definitely not anything wrong with the record player.

Hugely dissatisfied, he record was sealed, so can’t be down to delivery, sides of the vinyl are scratched as well as the inner sleeves
