Easy to set up, & works really well. Just be sure it's the matched for the task you want it to do. It's not for a huge pond stocked with hundreds of big fish. A small pool with a couple of dozen small fish will ideal, & benefit from this lovely little, fool proof box. I'd recommend it to all who are looking for this type of item.

Purchased for a newly constructed raised pond. Can't compare with other filter boxes as this is the first that I have owned. Seems well constructed and with a little ptfe tape on threads seems to be functioning well. I have cleaned the foams twice so far and they are certainly holding a lot of green from the water. They are a little tricky to remove for cleaning and I cut them to make it easier to work around the outlet column, which I didn't want to remove each time I wanted to clean them. Only DISSAPOINTMENT is that I tried to contact the seller through Amazon asking about extending the outlet and ideally turning it through 90degrees. Unfortunately NO REPLY.

Brilliant filter box for the money. Our pond water was so green you couldn't see our fish. A couple of weeks after using this filter the water has cleared and for the first time this year I can enjoy watching my fish swim around.

This filter comes without a drainage point although the fitting instructions clearly show one, as a result of no drainage point it is necessary to syphon with a hose pipe to remove and clean the filter very unsatisfactory

smaller than old one but does the job, neat and tidy.

The lid in particular is very flimsy, but also the tank itself is made from thin plastic which is not suitable for the British weather nor being buried in soil. Would happily pay more for a more robust product.

Works well even with a powerfull pump. I didnt like that there was no option to get a uv filter as part of the order there also is no recommendations for one to buy. But overall I'm impressed with the filter.
