I had to buy this accessory for my Dyson DC 24 which ruins wooden hard floor. This inexpensive part was delivered with a no need adapter. There is nothing negative about this part, it works perfectly. I only wished my Dyson DC 24 vacuumed better, but it has no suction power and it is really not functional. It just looks good. If only we could replace the Dyson turbo head for a part that would look like this one...instead of having to hold and carry the whole vacuum cleaner in one hand and the pipe with its attachment in the other. This part is articulated which makes things at least a little bit easier, thank you Qualtex. Its dimensions ( 11.75 X 2 inches) are perfect to gather dust under the pieces of furniture and its long bristles trap the dirt very efficiently. The price is great and it comes in a nice wooden box I keep for my Dyson little spare parts.

I’ve always loved my Dyson vacuum, but the original attachment was incredibly loud, and when I used upstairs, downstairs felt like an earthquake! I decided to try this hard floor attachment, and I’m so glad I did. It works great—picks up dirt, hair, and other debris really well, and the addition of the brushes makes a noticeable difference in performance. The best part is that it’s much quieter than the original attachment, which is a huge plus for me. Overall, it’s a fantastic upgrade that makes vacuuming more efficient and much less disruptive. Highly recommend it for anyone with hardwood or hard floors!

It works as well as the original, however it doesn't lock as tightly and occasionally unlocks and can fall out. I check often and it's seemed to have gotten better with time. Worth the purchase though

First, the good. It is cheap in price. It fits my V6 dyson perfectly. The bad - it does not work at all. I believe there are two fundamental issues. The first is the biggest: on front of head there are two different sets of brushes before the actual area where things would get sucked up. The frontmost row has some openings where some bristles are lower. The second row has fewer and they do not line up. So you push into dust and hair and the brushes simply push all of it forward like a broom. Almost nothing gets to the suction area. The second issue is that this is a wide head and I think with the V6's very limited power such a large amount of open area decreases the effectiveness of that limited suck. FYI, I am only trying to pick up dust and very light pet hair off of hardwood. This is as easy of a vacuum job as can be. Just wanted to make sure my expectations were not crazy high - I am not expecting a v6 to pull thick hair out of carpet or anything. I just use this to essentially dust or touch up hardwoods between getting out the central vac stuff. This head makes even my light need impossible.

So glad I found this on Amazon and it works great with my Dyson upright. It makes sweeping a breeze. The head stays on the hose and now I can use under the furniture, kitchen cabinets, and stairs without switching to the small motorized head that doesn't work. Makes it easy to pick up all the things without bending down and picking up the unvacuumed items. Dyson doesn't even sell this on their website so I thought I'd give it a shot. Works well wished I got a long time ago.

Allows you to change out the old power head for something more practical for bare floors. Could have been better designed to allow picking up objects as big as peanuts (that it doesn't do well). Doesn't work well on the backstroke on rugs at all. Forget about rugs. Works fine for most purposes on bare floors.

Delivered quickly & OMG how did I live without this attachment?! THIS is the single best attachment I have purchased for our Dyson and I love it! It is very low profile & the neck folds down flat so you really can sweep all the way under low furniture. We have 3 dogs, one sheds a LOT and the other 2 hardly at all, but they still shed a little. My old attachments have angled necks that don't allow you to get very far underneath low furniture because the wand hits the front of the piece. After getting this, I vacuumed the house & got all up under everything, including our beds. Then we purchased a new headboard, footboard, & frame, so had to disassemble our bed to set it up. That's when I realized what a great job this attachment has done in cleaning. I fully expected to see some dust bunnies or clumps of doggy hair, but there was literally none at all! This attachment has soft brushes all underneath it and then the suction is on the sides. If there's a lot of hair, which there was when I first used it, you will have to frequently pull it loose from the brushes so the vac can suck it up. But at least it is grabbing all that stuff that you've missed in the past. I think I will order one for our guest house & our barn/venue!

I bought this for my Dyson Animal ball 3. It fits perfectly if you're looking for one, Dyson discontinued the floor attachment for some reason....the ball doesn't fit under furniture so I felt like the house wasn't getting cleaned. Now everything works great!

Breaks really quickly
