Dentist was impressed. Good quality mouth guards
Easy to mould — took it in and showed the dentist and even they were impressed with the impressions. The material softens quickly, shapes well and gives a snug fit without feeling bulky. Once moulded it stays in place through the night and does a good job reducing clenching. Versatility is solid too with the mix of sizes in the pack, so you can pick what feels best or keep spares for later. Quality is decent and they’re comfortable enough that you forget you’re wearing one after a few minutes. For the price, it’s good value — simple to fit, effective and far cheaper than a custom guard. Surprisingly easy to breath.

Comfortable and easy to use
Good quality mouth guards. Easy to mold and comfortable to wear at night. I like that the set includes two sizes, so you can choose the best fit. Slim design, doesn’t feel bulky, and stays in place while sleeping. Overall, a good option for teeth grinding.

Extremely comfortable plastic; easy to mold; made minor adjustments to case to allow air circulation
I am extremely satisfied with how soft the plastic is. It is very, very comfortable in my mouth. I don’t love having something in my mouth while I’m sleeping at ALL, but the comfort of the plastic definitely goes a long way toward helping me do it. My first night, I had it in for an hour or two and then I just had to take it out. I slept some and put it back in around 4am because I could tell I had been clenching/grinding. I slept with it in from 4am to 7am and then I had to take it out again. I think it will probably take me a little bit to get used to it and to be able to sleep through the whole night with it, but the way I see it, any amount of time I sleep in it is cutting down on damage to my teeth!! (I’m also thinking of it like a new piece of jewelry — for those of you like me who wear certain rings 24/7, when you get a new one, it can feel like such a foreign object, but within a week of wearing it all the time, you don’t notice it anymore. I am determined to get my brain to such a point of familiarity with this guard that it completely filters out the feedback that it’s in my mouth! 😆) It’s probably worth noting that I’m on the spectrum so not everyone will be as overwhelmed by the sensory experience as I am. I have had trouble sleeping in earplugs, too. I have zero experience with dentist-made sleep guards so I can’t compare this one to those; however, I will say it is noticeable in your mouth and while I wouldn’t call it bulky, it’s also not discreet or subtle or “a perfect fit.” But it definitely works and it is definitely an excellent value for the money. The instructions were on point and easy to follow; the comments on the video were also helpful. One guy said that the top teeth are usually easier to fit than the bottom teeth but you can fit whichever one you want. You do not wear a top guard and a bottom guard at the same time. Possibly this is obvious to most people; it was not obvious to me and it was only thanks to someone else’s review that I learned it. I fitted to my top teeth. I’m tempted to boil water and go through the fitting process again because I have a hunch it could be fitted just a bit more snug. But even if I don’t go through the process again, I am happy with it. You get two small and two large. I like that a lot because it gives you a spare if you mess up. And if you don’t mess up, you can make a guard for top teeth AND bottom teeth if you want to change it up. ;) It definitely stays in place. No issue there. It was easy enough to mold; the only thing I would say about the process is use more pressure to mold it than you think is necessary because I think I didn’t use enough. It’s also possible my water cooled off too much — our home is drafty and chilly in the wintertime, so I suspect I shouldn’t have let the water cool quite as long as the instructions said. Overall, this product is 1) saving my teeth and 2) saving my money so I am giving it five stars. I have to get used to having it in my mouth and maybe it would be less of process with a dental-grade guard but I don’t have the money to spend on such a luxury. Time and patience will be my friends instead of money. 😜 One last remark: the case does not have any holes in it for releasing moisture? I’m not sure if I’m missing something, but this really bothered me. This is an item you put in your mouth, so I really need it to not be getting musty and/or moldy or mildewy. I couldn’t stand the thought of it sitting in an open case and I also couldn’t stand the thought of it building up condensation in a closed case, so I used a 1/8” drill bit to drill three holes in the top and four in the back (none on the bottom for obvious reasons) so that air can circulate the case without letting in any particulate (hopefully…). I wish they made the cases with a mesh-like pattern built into the plastic to allow moisture to evaporate. But this product is STILL protecting my teeth and saving me hundreds of dollars so it still gets five stars even though the case seemed less protective and more like a mini sauna for the mouth guard. 😬 I definitely recommend this product. Easy to use all around, and a very, very comfortable plastic. (Oh, last note — it protects teeth from damage but it does not help tremendously with the pain in a jaw from clenching. I am still researching what to do about that. I don’t normally have a problem with this to begin with, but life has been particularly stressful and overwhelming for the last month and I am pretty sure that’s why this problem has developed. If you’re looking for something to alleviate jaw pain, this isn’t going to help much, but it WILL protect your teeth so I would highly encourage using it anyway.) (No wait, THIS is the last note — it’s possible the case has no holes for air circulation because bacteria getting in is a bigger concern. I’m not sure. I modified the case because of how I understand the physics of it but maybe talk to someone smarter than me before you put holes in the case. I’m off to go research more about that myself…)
