Bought for son who indoor climbs, he said “ yeh, it’s ok” high praise from him! I thought it was expensive for the amount but safety costs

I also have the original Magic Chalk Sphere, the one with string, but I preffer this sock to it. It's more comfortable and easy to use because it doesn't have that string...it's awkard to dip your hand in the chalk bag and instead of strocking a soft and plush sphere, your fingers get tangled in that string and push onto the rigid plastic part.I use it with Unicorn Dust and works very well. It's relatively easy to refill. You must fill only half of it so that you can turn the other side around the filled part, but make sure you twist it a couple of times before you do that, or otherwise it will open and all the chalk will come out.

Good bag of chalk but don't be fooled like i was thinking it's an actual bag that carrys the chalk. It's a pouch that has chalk in it.

My son was doing a climbing qualification and asked for some chalk. He really liked the fact it’s in a bag which keeps it tidier and harder to get everywhere. Thumbs up from him. Great gift

It means I got what I paid for, it's absolutely nothing special.If I was being completely honest about what the magic Chalk Ball PRO is, its a £13 sock marketed as a chalk ball. It's the first one I've ever bought so maybe all chalk balls are just socks with a twist in them, I don't know.I bought a separate bag of chalk as Rufus the Amazon AI said I was buying a chalk ball without chalk for £13. It's a positive it does come with chalk already in it.When you put it on the gym floor, it looks like you've left a sock lying around.Overall I think it's OK.

I bought this as it looked interesting and different than usual chalk bars or powder. It's a bit of a novelty and you are better off just getting a chalk bars. This is basically chalk in a few socks.

The material holds the chalk too well. Not enough chalk comes out onto my hand when I use it.

It's essentially a sock that you twist and fold over itself. This ends up with having two layers that the chalk has to get through, which makes it quite hard to get enough chalk on your hands.Since you have to fold it over itself, it isn't as convenient as chalk balls that have a drawstring, and you end up losing a lot of chalk when you try to fill it as there is chalk trapped between the two layers when you unfold it to refill.Save your money and just buy the regular chalk ball, I wish I did.

This chalk ball is more than I could have asked for. The sock that it comes in is soft and perfect for just squishing in your hands to get the right amount on them. It doesn't dry out my skin like other brands and seems to stay on well.

I like the thought of the powder. I have tried a block and the liquid form. This is really nice for me, the squeezing action i have to do to apply is also a nice touch to almost like move my hands and fingers in between sets.
