It arrives rolled up in a sturdy cardboard and it unrolls with ease. Similar to a fruit Roll-up. It's thick and protective for the laminate floors I have, and is smooth for the new roller chair I just received.

I needed a new floor mat for my home with wood floors. My chair would not stop rolling away from my desk but the mat has stopped that from happening. The floor mat is large and maybe a bit too big for some people (my daughter is a bit surprised on the size since it's a two pack). While the mats are very tightly rolled into the shipping sleeve it does layout flat easily and at first, I thought the clear mat was black or a dark color in the packaging.

Well it arrived tightly rolled up It doesn't lay flat even after having it weighted down next to a radiator for 4 days even. Went to put it right side up to use and it immediately started curling up badly. I put it back to reverse side using it that way but even on that side it curls just not as badly as right side up. Chair rolls so so not sure if it's because of rolling on textured side. I'll give it that translucenty is nice the floor is nicely visible and not overly shiny. It's protecting finish on floor from chair casters which was my reason for buying. Glad I changed quantity down to one. If it wasn't rolled up so tightly I think it would of made difference in the flatness but that's just my opinion.

Product is substandard, very thin. It was shipped rolled up which was strange to me, all chair mats that I have used in the past were too thick to roll. Followed instructions to try and get it flat again, said to lay weight on it for 24 hour. I had weights on it for 5 days while I was out of town. Needless to say, the rolled edges never came out. Edges remained lifted appropriately 1” around entire perimeter and now is a trip hazard. Next issue is it cam with large, rubber non-slip buttons that are put on the bottom. The buttons are over 1” diameter and show up as large white circles through the clear mat. This is my first ever product review as I typically just count these as a loss but in this case, the product will not meet its intended use. DO NOT BUY! UPDATE: So apparently the white dots are not pads, they are adhesive stickers designed to hold the mat down like double sided tape. Never seen this before on Chair Mats. So if you are looking for a sheet of plastic that you tape down to the floor then this product is for you., It is not for me.

Just got this to protect the new tile. Good size and stays in place.
