These ratings are rigged. This does not work. I bought 2 so not just a fluke. Really irritates me that amazon allows this.

Very poor quality cable. Not worth the money at all.

It would charge but the microphone portion didn’t work at all. The annoying “this accessory may not be supported” warning also appears every time.

Quality wise, this product isn't bad. In the beginning, when I first opened it and tried it on my phone, there would be a warning message that would appear, "This accessory may not be supported". However, it did work after around 3 consecutive pop-ups and the phone would charge along with playing music at the same time. But lately, it hasn't been working in general. The same warning message would pop up, but this time, it wouldn't charge. Only music would work, and not the charging part; my main reasoning for buying this product. I tell all future buyers to read this review because though it may work in the beginning, it might not work forever.

I am so disappointed in this product. I got it for my iphone 7. I got it because of the lack of negative reviews. This started having problems a little over a month after I purchased it (January 29th purchased - started having problems March 3rd). When I plug in both the charger and the headphones, it doesn't recognized sometimes that both are plugged in. And if it does recognize both, if I bump or move it it disconnects the headphone part. Made the product useless. The bummer is it is just past the 30 days I have through amazon to return and is no longer eligible to be returned. So it's just like throwing money away.

I bought this back in March, It worked great for a little while and the last month or so I noticed my phone wouldn't charge while it was plugged into it. I thought that it was my computer (I use this while I am at work so to charge I use the USB on my computer) I also thought it might be the cord I was using because its old as dirt and falling to pieces (however I was confused because that cord still works perfectly in my car) again went back to the UBS on my computer.. I brought a brand new charger in that I have plugged into an outlet and the thing still doesn't work. Its not like I use the item on a daily basis once or twice a week maybe, so the fact that it doesn't work after a few months is a joke!

This product is okay. My biggest issue is the fact that it doesn’t always work. Half of the time I can’t hear sound through my headphones when plugged into this adapter or I can’t charge my phone using this adapter because it isn’t an official iPhone adapter/product so it isn’t compatible.I would like to speak with the seller further on this to see if the Would be interested in replacing it or giving me a refund as i can barely use it.

I haven't purchased this item but for anybody checking the reviews they were all done on January 23, 2018 and they were all 5 star reviews. Seems like someone has rigged it so their product goes all the way to the top when you click on average reviews. Seems like a product to stay away from.
