We rescued Ember at 9 months old. Her 1st owner abused her, tied her up, and tried to breed her by force beginning at 6 months old. So needless to say, she's been terrified about grooming, brushing or soft touch on her tummy. When it comes to her butt, she's is utterly terrified. We adopted her 5.5 yrs ago. I am able to do all of those things now. That's been our hardest to conquer. But there are always those spots or knots that need worked through. This brush has been fabulous in coverage, ease of use, and comfort to my furbabies while using. Ember doesn't mind the brush as it does not pull, irritate, or otherwise cause her any fear or anxiety. I like the long prongs with the protective ends. As her coat and undercoat are significant. More importantly, The furbabies don't mind it at all...♡♡

It’s great for getting out Mats but it’s very very small. I have a 70 lbs goldendoodle f1b and it still works but just have to groom for a lot longer.It should be labeled as small, not large.

This is not a brush for a large dog or even a medium dog. This brush is the right size for a regular size house cat. This totally defeats the reason why I purchased the brush for my German Shepherd.
