WiFi Panel Antenna is the most popular type of directional antenna in use today. Our outdoor flat panel is commercial made tough at 14dBi gain. This antenna is directional and must be pointed in the direction in which the signal is coming from. The Panel antenna is used to direct the WiFi beam. It will increase the signal/reception in the direction it's pointing.Wireless Panel is ideally suited for directional and multipoint 2.4 MHz band applications.Specifications:Model: P414144Frequency Range: 2400-2500 MHzBandwidth: 300 MHzGain: 14dBiVSWR: ≤ 1.5Horizontal Beam width: 35°Vertical Beam width: 32°F/B: 17dBImpedance: 50ΩPolarization: VerticalMax Power: 50WConnector: RP-SMA (Male)Working Temperature: -40ºF – 140ºFMounting Mast Type: U ShapeBracket: L Gimbal ClampColor: WhiteWeight: 15.2 OzDimensions: 7.5" x 7.5" x 1.5"Included Adapter: RP-SMA (Female) – SMA (Male)

This product really works
I have a camera down my long driveway, and I have tried different cameras, and different wifi extenders and this is the only one that really worked. My husband said Amazon would probably be glad to pay for this one, since I want have to return any more cameras or extenders. I got my wifi on the camera to 89%. So I also ordered an antenna replacement for my router and it went up to 100%. It was the Eightwood dual antenna.

IT ACTUALLY WORKS
So I have installed Night Owl wireless sys. around my house.. since recently some kids been wondering around in the middle of the night and look for open cars in driveways...I had one camera put in the garage since I had no use for fourth cam... three was good enough..Since the camera was in detached garage and mounted on the back wall of the garage separated by couple of walls and about 100 ft away from the unit itself it barely picked up any wifi signal, as you look at the picture..I was only getting green dot... not a single bar at all..camera was skipping, stuttering, wasn't recording everything that was going on at the time in the garageand a lot of times screen displayed no link message...I have tried antenna boosters, $100 wifi extenders... :(one day I have ordered this piece...even tho this unit comes with long enough cable.. i only place it about six feet away from the camera on the same back wall!!! (just to hide it away)and Bam!!! I get two extra bars!!!Could't be any happier with this.. I get clean picture, no more picture freezing,The signal strength went from 8-9 to 32... compared to my cameras that have all bars and chill at 46... I would saynat bad!!!now I guess it is the question of reliability and see how long it will last.. lol

READ THIS REVIEW & THANK ME FOR SAVING YOU TIME AND MONEY!
I am not a paid tester, just a consumer that buys products to use and hopes my decision to buy the item was a good one. I will admit that this looked like a great directional antenna priced a little low, but within reason to not think it was junk. It came well-packed in a box with a neatly coiled cord. I was actually excited to try it out I was going to fabricate a bracket to mount it inside on my tripod to position it properly. My first test was with an Edimax router with 2.4ghz bandwidth on one antenna connection. My router has a screen that opens to identify SSIDs that are within range to connect to. I made several attempts to try this out and not once could it pull in as many hotspots as a rubber 5 dbi antenna. Actually, it seemed to make no difference when I had no antenna on the 2.4ghz band. It was about the same. I changed the position, the direction, the pitch, etc. There was nothing else I could try. Then, I connected it to my other router, a GI ARM300-EXT. I removed one of the two antennas to plug this into the router's connector. Again, like with the Edimax, absolutely nothing different than the two short 2 dbi antennas that came with the router. So that there is no confusion, I had to use the adapter once because this cord's end connector has no center pin. I want everyone that reads this review that I made no mistake and this antenna made contact in the connector. I cannot explain why it does not work and I never bothered opening the case it to have a look inside. Obvioulsy, it could be defective, but I am more inclined to believe these are mass produced junk.I can honestly recommend you buy a different antenna which will serve your purpose and save you the time to return a piece of worthless junk that is far better off in the trash than connected to your Router, Extender or AP.

Great for WiFi IP Cam.
This is a great antenna for WiFi IP security cameras. I replaced the Omni directional antenna on a WiFi IP Cam with above flat panel antenna and all is well. The Cam. is 300’ away from it’s AP(also has a flat panel antenna) and from there its wired to the main router. The Cam. is HD. Live view and recording is working very well. I did not have to call tech. support. I did not give five stars because it still must stand the test of time. The whole setup has been running for a month now. I am very happy with this product.

Good enough for me to order a third one (with ...
Well ...... It did the job.Not as much gain as I had hoped, (ordered 2 for a discount) but did push the signal from outside to inside the house through a few walls. One with a 10 foot extension (good shielded cable) and the other with only the attatched cable. No apparent signal loss, as the antennas are side-by-side.Good enough for me to order a third one (with no discount as only one ordered) to complete my Night Owl system. The 300 foot system range apparently did not include any walls, so without the Avacom antennas the Night Owl would have been returned. No worries mate.

Boosts signal, good quality.
Good device, is the 2nd of this type I have purchased. I use the on my outdoor Wi-Fi cameras that don’t get decent signal from my Wi-Fi router. These work perfectly. Also the cameras have a regular Wi-Fi antenna on them that I unscrew and screw on this antennas cable, which looks better. Then I hide the antenna up in the soffit. Signal is fantastic with these. I would say I thing they are a little pricey for just being a cable and a piece of metal inside a plastic case but hey, I bought anyways.

This one works great!
I pluged this into my router and beamed a signal all the way to my garage (about 200 feet). I'm happy

The difference between connecting 50% and 99.9%
I have an outdoor security camera that receives my WiFi signal after going through three house walls and out to back yard. Around 100 feet from back of house. The signal was pretty weak even with a range extender. I decided to try this by hooking it right at my WiFi Router and adding a 25’ cable to it so I could mount on outside of house. I aimed the antenna at my camera and extender. Since I’ve added this booster my security camera comes on line 99.9% of time. I am very pleased with signal quality and amplification. I can even use my smart phone in back yard now.
