I needed a longer pole to stick my GoPro in the water from a panga, so after reading a bunch of reviews I ordered this one. Specifically I wanted a GoPro waterproof extendable stick with a clip off end or wrist strap that attached securely. It worked like a charm for a whale watching trip in Baja. I was concerned that having so many segments might present weak points at their joins, but it didn't have any problems with slow movements from the boat while we were filming. Haven't tried the tripod or phone adaptor yet, though they're both great bonuses!

I bought this one because the reviews seemed to be good and it appeared to be a good value. I took it on vacation and the second time I extended it one of the poles came apart. It appears to have a plastic bushing the came apart in two pieces. Very disappointing. Overall I did like the stick and it was easy to use and reached pretty far. The company is sending me a new one and I will update my review based on it's performance. Update: Customer support was excellent and they immediately sent me a replacement. It has held up well so far.

I had just gotten a GoPro and wanted to test this out on a short trail hike. The stick extended after a little finagling but is difficult to get to stay locked in the extended position. In order to get the stick to stay extended you need to twist the pole until it is essentially jammed into a locked position. As I did this the mid section freely spun and came out of the stick. A couple small plastic pieces fell out of the stick which clearly would not hold up in the long term. I returned the stick since it was completely un-usable after the locking mechanism failed.

Great!! Hold my phone, GoPro, and camera!! Great for vacation! 100% waterproof when I took my GoPro underwater. The stands aren’t very durable, someone accidentally stepped on them while I was taking a photo and they bent, wasn’t able to use anymore.

Broke on first day of use, the felt apart, stick felt and broke ( camera scratched but ok).

Used this snorkeling in Hawaii and it worked amazing! Easy to use and able to get up close shots without being too close to the sea turtles. Just make sure to rinse with fresh water afterwards. Love it!!!

I use numerous action cams in various wet conditions: Pool, beach and scuba diving. This sticks extensions lock solidly into place and works very well for my needs. It's a major plus that they include the mini-tripod as it effectively give me a lot of flexibility with my shots.

This is a great selfie stick but DO NOT let sand get in it. I took it to Maui and sand inevitable got into some grooves and no matter what I do the mount that holds the camera doesn't hold as tight...
