These Fig Newman's were very good.

These are perfect cookie treats. The crust isn't too hard or too soft. This Low Fat version has the best flavor and consistency IMO among all the options.

We were very excited, actually counting down the days till our product arrived, when it finally did yesterday. My children, who are fans of Newman's Fat Free Fig's, absolutely adored the individual packages we were buying from Trader Joes/Whole Foods for years now. So, my wife and I made a minuscule investment in a 6 container shipment of Newman's product. When my eldest daughter, Kira, opened the box and tried to get a single cookie out of the box, she had extreme trouble, as the cookies all seemed to have morphed into one giant "fruit and cake bar". Being the diligent mother, my wife, Livvy is, she immediately grabbed the package and a knife and began to separate each individual cookie from each individual package. When our son, Danny, came home from football, he was thrilled that the cookies were here, separated and ready to eat, and he took a bite. The first things out of his mouth were things my wife and I have taught him never to say out loud, or to anyone else, about any food he ingests, as millions do not have the privileges that he does and millions go to bed each night without food. Nothing can stop a teenager, he said, "ew, Dad, these are the gummiest, firmest Newman's Fat Free Figs ever!". We reinforced his upbringing and told him never to utter words like that again, he apologized and went to bed. Bottom line, we all agree, the cookies, Newman's Own Organics Fig Newmans, Fat Free are delicious. That is only the case if you buy them package by package from your local markets. I'm sorry to have had to written such a negative review about such a great product. I guess everything went wrong in shipping and handling.

Yep, the best. Skip the fat-free version and opt for this low-fat one instead.

These are really good - even better than Fig Newtons - but I mistakenly thought they were organic and they are not. Newman's makes an organic variety but it is fat-free and I didn't necessarily want or need that. Since these have fat, they are a softer texture than the organic variety but the fact that they are not completely organic is a deal breaker for me. They do have some organic ingredients (flour and sugar) but the organic option is almost as good...and super delicious if you let them sit out overnight and get stale & crunchy :-)

Hard to find these delicious gems in the store. They are also at a good price
