I have progressive lenses but when i sit at my work station i have to lift my head in order to see. can i find the right strength on my rx?

Optician here. That’s because the top of regular progressives are set for distance vision. You need to lower your monitor screen so you are looking through the lower part of the lenses to see it and not straight ahead. Ideally when looking straight ahead your gaze should be slightly over the top of your monitor. If this isn’t possible look into a computer progressive. A computer progressive has intermediate/computer distance on the top and reading on the bottom. They will make the distance blurry and aren’t for driving. But they work great for computers and reading.
