Great quality for the price wouldn’t change
I’ve caught more fish with this net than I have with the fishing pole in my entire life great, great net strong, durable reliable. The only thing I’ve seen that I would change is the pull back cordage it has a tendency to tie itself in a knot when thrown besides that amazing.

Top notch product
Used this cast net for the first time today, awesome product ! The 1/4" mess is absolutely the way to go ! You don't have to spend part of your time picking that smaller shad out of the mesh.

Functional
For a 4ft net that is under $30, really cannot complain. Gets the job done and it offers 1/4" mesh. Note that the weights are not SS or Lead. The weights WILL rust if you do now allow the net to completely dry before packing it away. Even then it will still probably rust as it is just zinc coated iron. Like with any cast net, avoid obstructions such as rocks and sticks, and it will probably last you it's money worth or more.

Poor Material used causing premature failure
Does the item work? Sure Will it last? No I had it for less than 1 month, maybe used it for 3 outings max and the "Double Selvage, and Triple wraps" did absolutely nothing but fall apart rendering the net useless. It doesnt matter if it is wrapped 20 times because once the thin piece of line, lining the bottom starts to rip it all unravels. I have older nets that dont have this issue and still hold up to this day. Its crazy to cheap out on simple line at the bottom when it such curial part of the net.

heavier net but so worth it. Way less work in the end.
The net is very heavy, though with 1/4" mesh I expected that. The 1/4" mesh is the game changer compared to my last several nets with 3/8" and 1/2" mesh. It makes cleaning the bait out of the net soooooo much easier. I have used it twice now and both times I was amazed with how difficult it is to throw, but how easy it was to empty the bait made this net more than worth it. The webbing and lead lines are also much thicker than my previous nets.

Nice net, slow descent.
This is a very well crafted made product. Be aware that 1/4 inch mesh means two things, first the dense net causes a slow descent leaving time for bait fish to escape and second the monofilament has to be quite small and thus tears easily. You may be better off choosing a version of the same net with heavier weights and avoiding areas with any brush.

Cast net
Bought the 8 ft cast net never casted a net before, took me a few tries to get it right but after that it worked perfectly and other people told me that this net is a good net so I'm going to take their word
