Anyone who knows anything about muay thai knows the size difference between Thai vs USA standards. Thai people are much smaller and skinnier.I am 5/4, I am 148 lbs and have 32-33 inch waist. The XL fit perfect. I can wear either L or XL.Great pair muay thai shorts for low price. very happy with them. They look good, great material and thick.

Great fit for a Beefy guy like me! I love this MMA short & I get complimented at the gym of the quality! I love wearing flashy shorts and tank tops at the gym and this was superb! Material is great too. Ordering for American Men Sizes are hard cause Thai men are much leaner than us. I am 6’2” and 265 pounds of beef. So for me a 4XL worked. I am size 2XL USA size so bodybuilders, go 2 sizes up. Men who are big like me will appreciate the waistband not strangling the family jewels!

I bought three of these for my KIDS! Yes, kids, and they were SO super short! I have three boys, 11, 10, and 9, and the mens Smalls, were not only cut to the wrong waist circumference, but the length was abnormally short. I took a picture to ask their instructor, what he thought, and he said they are definitely super short for the sizing. For the record, my boys are fit, and athletic children, no extra fat. I actually took out a seamstress tape measure, and the measurement even on the outside of the waist band was too small. They are however, VERY nice. Made of a soft satin, seems were extremely well done, beautiful patches, good waistband, everything was quality and perfect, except the sizing. I am going to order a medium and hope for the best. I believe this to be an issue with MOST Thai shorts, not just this company, and still recommend the shorts. Just know they are a shorter cut, and definitely smaller fit!

World MMA Gear has a great line of Muay Thai gear. The shorts always impress me in both design and material quality. They hold up very well in training and sparring. I would definitely recommend.

Quality of materials, stitching, and flexibility to to move is perfect... sizing is a little off though for my body type (stocky/muscular) so I suggest you size-up unless you are a very lean fighter

I'm short and thick, 5'9" ~235lbs. If you are even close to my body type you know the struggle to find Thai shorts to fit you. Generally they are small. Or if they are in your waist size they are long and defeat the whole style of shorts.

The quality looks ok. I never had the opportunity to wash them. Everything looks pretty decent except 2 things.1. The words "Muay Thai" are on a giant patch with black background. So the black patch itself is sewn to the shorts. I thing it would have looked much better if the letters were individually sewn to the shorts.2. This is the big one. This product comes from Thailand. I believe their men are built completely different than us here in the U.S. I'm a size 33 waist, so I ordered the Mediums. I could not get the shorts past my knees. In fact, they fit my 8 year old son.After I had placed these on order, my MMA gym received an order of shorts from Thailand. I tried on a couple of pairs and got my correct size. XL is a size 33 in Thailand.Since my son is in Jiu-Jitsu, I just plan on putting these in a shadow box and hanging them on my wall.
