TERRO Multi-Surface Liquid Ant Baits, 4-Pack, Indoor Bait Stations for Home

We started seeing ants about a week ago, and after trying other brands/methods on getting rid of them that always fail and just and up being a waste of money, I decided to get these. I have two additional pests in the household, however I willingly brought them into my home. A dog and a cat, who are notorious for working together to get into things that they aren’t supposed to. So I needed something that wouldn’t omit an odor, which these do not, and I needed something that would stay out of their reach, which these do. I saw some reviews saying the adhesive wasn’t effective, but mine work just fine. I haven’t had any fall and spill anywhere. Keep this in mind if you also have pets who love destruction, if they do knock it down, the traps have a liquid and will spill everywhere. Overall, they’re easy to use and set up, small enough to hide away, and they more importantly, take care of the ants. Really good product, I hope I don’t have to buy them again, though.

Love this stuff! It works incredibly fast and very effective. I did have an issue with the adhesive part on the back, so I had to put it on the floor instead of sticking to the wall or baseboard, but it still worked like a charm!

These traps didn’t stick that great but it did eliminate the ants. Easy to install, odor less, affordable. Place it where your animal can’t reach. My dog kept trying to get to the trap.

I have been fighting those teeny tiny black ants in my kitchen and bath for 3 weeks. I bought 3 different products that had different "killer" bait in them. This is the only one that's working. The most important step is watching the ants, following their trail line. Mine were literally coming and/or going through an inside corner hole of my cubbard. I set one bait up along the backsplash near my sink too because they were traveling across the inner facing of the top shelf to the other end, down along the inner face to the bottom of the cubbard, then down the backsplash over to the sink, then disappearing into a crack in the tile at the corner of my sink. So placed one bait at the hole below the ceiling inside the cubbard hole and one near the corner of sink along the backsplash. Lay the bait stations along their path and leave them alone for 24-48 hours so they can take it back to their mama. Again, this is the only bait of the 3 that actually attracted them and they fed on it. I left all 3 products sitting out in the same locations, and they ignored the other two. Highly recommend this Terro product.

This is the second time I've bought these, the last time was 5 years ago. It takes less than 24 hours for these to work. We had swarms of ants and less than a day later there is nothing! Amazing product!

I bought these due to my sister's recommendation, and I'm glad I did! These traps were highly effective in my kitchen. I had a million tiny ants all over the place because of a grenadine spill someone had left on the counter. I set 4 traps along the wall by the counter and sink, and within two days there were no more ants! They are nice and small, easy to apply, and also easily removable. The ants take the bait back to their nest so you don't have to worry about dead ants everywhere except the ones that drown in the traps, which is easy cleanup. This also allowed me to figure out where they were all coming in through a gap behind my cupboard. I also want to mention they were safe to use around my cats. There is no odor at all which is a huge plus because most pet-safe ant killer sprays have a really strong odor. Will definitely buy these again if I ever have another issue with ants.

Most Important to Know .... if you have hand co-ordination or hand strength problems, and no big strong person to step in for you .... DO NOT BUY! If you cannot google "How to Open Terro Liquid Ant Bait" ..... forget it!! My husband passed away and I am stuck doing all the house stuff he would have done. The hot weather and ancient house I live in are a GREAT invite for ants! And yes I put my sugar into sealed jars, cereal into Tupperware and take trash out daily!! So I buy these as they were ranked higher than the sort I have used in the past. I have cats, so need pet friendly products, just like I would need child friendly if I had infants / young kids. So these arrive and I check out the instructions. They have very small pictures and no written instructions explaining the removal of a plastic tab in the bait. A better person might not even pay much attention to the tab in the first place. I tried to pull this tab upwards. Now in Terro's defence, the pic provided (as shown) does look like you twist this tab. I googled how to remove tab .... got to a helpful little Youtube with an older guy "effortlessly" removing the tab by TWISTING it. If they only put the word TWIST on the pic / instructions .... I would have been half OK. Half OK? Well yeah. Cos for me it was NOT effortless to twist this damn tab. I had to see-saw that sucker to an nch of its life ..... to get it to snap and that left the top kind of mangled so I am not even sure if it still works. So out of the gate, I have had frustration and misery using these, before even testing for efficacy. UGH! And another tip .... wear gloves! I did the first time around .... but by the time I was wrestling with the tab, the gloves were off!! In more than one way ..... and managed to get one semi snapped. I DID get gunk on my hands .... nooooo!!!! Not impressed at this point. Hope this is of some help!

The adhesive is weak. Three of four baits fell off the kitchen tile. The cabinet mount held. The bait itself is sticky so we put the baits on little pieces of cardboard and laid them flat on the windowsill. They do work. Within hours, there were dozens of tiny black ants all over the bait stations and 48 hours later, we aren't seeing ants. Works on "sugar ants" but not fire ants. No odor, but sticky.

Honestly I had some doubts on whether this will work or not. Ants finally stopped coming inside my house. I followed instructions to stick the ant box poison in a shaded area, kept one near the entrance of the house and I no longer see them near my door or inside my house. I’ve been using the ant poison box now for 2 weeks. Not sure until when it will last but worth to buy again.
