Perfect! Just buy ‘em!
These are awesome! They’re just a TINY BIT bigger than the OEM letters, although not enough to be noticeable at all. The gloss black looks great, and the adhesive is black as well. Before I removed the old letters, I put a strip of blue painter’s tape approximately 1/8 of an inch below them, then drew little arrows with a fine-tipped sharpie where the sides of each letter was for reference. Then I used a 12-inch piece of fishing line with a couple of small bolts tied to the ends to use as handles. I used the fishing line to “saw” the tape off the back of the old letters by putting the line behind each letter and moving the line back and forth. The old letters popped right off.To remove the old double-sticky tape that was left behind after removing the old letters, I used a 3M eraser wheel on the end of a Dewalt chordless drill, on the #2 (medium setting) with half-trigger (to keep it slow to avoid burning the paint). Then I cleaned the area using denatured alcohol on a microfiber cloth. After the area was clean, I carefully placed each letter, one-by-one, exactly where each original letter was (using the reference arrows on the blue tape). I pressed on each letter afterward to ensure proper adhesion. Then, I removed the blue tape and admired my handy work over a cold beverage. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase!Take it from me — use the 3M eraser wheel! It makes the process SO MUCH faster and easier!

Take your time and use stensil
So far I'll go 5 stars for quality and ease of installation. Before removing old letters measure distance from bottom of the door and edge of door near wheel to the letters. Remove old, many different ways, easiest for me was 3M wheel w 3M adhesive remover.Once removed clean paint with some form of alcohol, mineral spirits or wax remover type solvent. Dry off area, mark your lower mark in a few spots and the edge. DO NOT LEVEL, you want to to follow the door flow.Get some masking tape, put the stensil up match your bottom mark n slide over to match the edge, tape in place.Once taped measure again to bottom of letter in stensil and edge.Install letters, press firmly, repeat on other side.Over time if something changes, they start falling off etc.. I will update this review.UPDATE:as of 4-23-21 letters have been though numerous carwashes an still hold true. Not a single issue

Better ones
1st I returned these. So I can't really rate adherence, or install. Wanted to set my truck apart and I a hate chrome. Looked nice or as they say "good from afar, far from good". Quality was really lacking appears as if they took red letters and painted the surface black causing black paint to run down the sides. As for install, comes with a paper template (only2) so you have to place individual letters. Wish could result in slight offset. Returned

Great new accent on my truck!
The hardest part of this project was removing the original chrome letters, which was times taking. Placing the new Black Letters was not difficult at all. I’ve had the letters on my truck for about 3 months, and they stick pretty well with rain and hot weather (95+ degrees). I feel that I’ve gotten my money’s worth. The pictures I’ve included are with the original chrome letters, and then the new black letters. Satisfied customer here.

They look OEM!
So far so good. They look great! I’ve had them on for about a week and they lasted through a hand wash. I had to immediately peel one of the letters back off when applying and the tape stayed stuck to my truck but the letter came off easily, so hopefully they’ll last.I recommend getting a 3M adhesive remover wheel or something similar for the removal of the old badges. (i bought the ABN rubber eraser wheel off amazon for 11$ and it worked great)

Nice
Letters look great, great quality, and reasonably priced. Easy to install but I wish the template that's included was a better quality. Other then that they were perfect for me.

Great product so far
I’ve only had them on for about 2 weeks but they are holding very well! Great product for the price.I used goo gone and a cloth to remove leftover adhesive but I would recommend buying a 3M adhesive remover wheel, would make it much easier and also to use painters tape to mark where the old letters went. And only used a heat gun and fishing string to remove

Not happy at all!!!
Not happy at all!! Went on fine and are still on after a couple months but the first time I washed my truck all the black paint started washing off. I ordered the black with red outline and they are now part chrome part black with red outline... not happy and will not recommend or buy again!!

Looks good. Quality was a little lacking.
Product came quickly. They seem to stick well to the body. My only issue was the black pieces didn't seem to be adhered well to the red piece underneath on a couple letters. I peeled the black pieces off and glued them better. Overall, it's worth it if it is the look you are going for.

Cheap blacked out alternative.
Easy to install. The sides are a bit smaller and a slightly different angle than OEM, but all good for the price! Considered plastidipping. SOOOOO glad I decided to go this way!
