Great all around grinder
I've owned this grinder for almost two years now and I can't say enough good things about it. I originally bought it to be a good all around grinder while I dabbled in espresso while mostly drinking French press and filter coffee. First and foremost, the grind quality is excellent. I noticed an immediate improvement to my coffee from the first time I used this grinder. Once calibrated, a fairly easy process btw, it can be dialed in to make an excellent cup of coffee for many different brew methods. I used it for espresso, filter, French press, and plan to use it for pour over and had good to fantastic results with each method. I am not well versed enough in espresso to say it can be solely used for that, but it did give me some good shots. It has a lot of adjustable settings that once I had a general range for my setup could dial in almost any coffee with my setup. The handle is sturdy, the magnetic catch cup is great, and it is easy to hold while even finely grinding. If you make large batches, this grinder pretty much tops out at 45g of coffee. But if you're like me and make a 4-6 cup pot every morning, this is a great grinder to have. And when I visit my in laws who don't drink coffee, I can travel with it and my French press taking up minimal space.

Best I have ever used.
This is truly worth it. An exceptional grinder. It has a premium feel and looks great. The case and accessories are well thought out and helpful when traveling. It is on the larger side but this is great for filter coffee as the capacity can easily fit 30-45 grams depending on the bean. It’s very easy to use and dialing in has been a breeze. For V60 I usually stay between 6.5 and 7.5 and for aeropress it is usually a bit finer than that around 6 and 7. The external adjustment makes it very easy to switch between different beans no problem. No issues with retention either. The cups are sweet, balanced and with some clarity. Not a ton of clarity like what you would expect from ZP6 but it also means it is very forgiving and will produce great results no matter what you through at it. I also tried it with espresso and it was great. It took me 30 seconds day to grind a full 20 gram dose no problem (it was a dark roast though). Overall this is an awesome grinder that I keep coming back to and using it has been great. Would highly recommend it if you have the budget. It is worth it.

Surpasses all expectations
When my wife and I started down the path to a perfect pour over we started with the Baratza Encore. It was a great entry grinder (still our day to day), but when we would pick up a fresh bag of beans from a new roaster, or just wanted to switch it up in the morning, or I wanted to brew a cup at work, it wasn’t very convenient to clean out the beans or pack it back and forth in my bag. This was my second manual grinder, but it’s by a mile my favorite. It is really well made - solid build, tight tolerances, heavy, feels incredibly durable which especially matters for a portable grinder. Refined details like the magnetically attached catch cup, the very finely tuned grind size adjustment ring, the big wooden handle, the spring mechanism for folding the handle up, the way the grinding handle attaches magnetically, and how easy it is to disassemble and clean. I liked the inclusion on the brush and air bladder for cleaning. The whole unit is beautiful and I enjoy having it out in my office. For a small manual grinder with its ease of portability it’s still the grind performance that won me over. Perfect consistency in the grindings, and I’ve enjoyed being able to very easily fine tune the grind settings depending on the beans and brew method of the day. And it is incredibly fast. The resistance while grinding feels very manageable, never catches, and it takes about 30 seconds for a full 35-36g of beans. My only small ? is the amount of static I seem to generate. It’s kind of hard to get the clinging grounds off the cup or the sides of the grinder, which makes more of a mess than I expected. I’m going to try misting the beans to see if it helps. But that’s my only negative. I love and highly recommend it.

Top Notch Coffee Grinder
I’ve had this grinder now for 6 months and have used it almost every morning and I am impressed. After experimenting with various methods and grinds, I’ve pretty much settled on the pour over method with a grind number of 50, but to each their own. The grinder is a breeze to operate and provides a very good and consistent grind; I’m using French roast whole beans. The grinder is exceptionally made and looks as if it should last a lifetime. One thing I’ve learned and will pass on: I was experiencing a lot of static electricity after grinding and to say it was messy would be an understatement. I found out that if you add about 4-6 drops of water to the beans before grinding, stir the beans around to distribute the moisture then grind, like magic, no static, no mess. Not sure of the science behind this but it works great. Overall, the grinder is expensive, no doubt about it, but it is 100% worth it.

Amazing Quality
I had been using a $10 Mr. Coffee blade grinder for years prior to buying this 1ZPresso K-Ultra burr grinder in iron gray. And the Bialetti Moka Pot 6-cup has been my brew method for years. I have had some time on my hands for the past few months and realized I could definitely improve the finer things in my life like coffee quality. After watching a few captivating James Hoffmann videos about Moka pot technique, I bought the K-Ultra as well as some Aeropress paper filters. The K-Ultra is such a quality product. I have no regrets about the splurge. I have small-to-medium sized hands, and the K-Ultra is easy to hold and feels solid and heavy in the hand. The grip is good. The magnetic method of attaching the coffee grounds cup is so cool. You twist the grounds cup slightly, like you would a screw cap, which causes the magnets to not be lined up and allows you to easily remove the grounds cup. But when the grounds cup is attached to the body with the magnets lined up, it is very sturdily attached. Also, the coffee ground size produced by the K-Ultra appears uniform. I used Heart coffee beans from Portland for my first coffees with the 1ZPresso, but after finishing that went to a cheaper Peet's Major Dickason's dark roast store brand. I will admit that the 45 seconds or so of grinding the Heart beans had a few moments of straining. Those beans did require some decent torque a few times, but I think most people could handle it. Worst case scenario would be that someone would need to take a few short breaks while grinding some especially crunchy beans or to adjust their hand positioning. Grinding the Peet's brand coffee beans in comparison has been extremely easy. Before filtering the coffee and switching to the 1ZPresso K-Ultra, my coffee always had some tiny coffee grounds in it. I think this is normal for the Moka pot. And I was never able to produce much coffee with the 6-cup Moka pot--no more than a regular coffee/tea cup's worth. I would drink it down quickly and think to myself that I really should get the 12-Cup pot so I can have a satisfying amount of coffee or if I have a guest over. But since switching from the blade grinder to the 1ZPresso K-Ultra, my coffee seems much stronger. It's so strong that I have been adding it to hot water to make two separate cups of Americano, which are still potent. I will often end up being satisfied with just one Americano cup only. (Side note, there are also now no longer any coffee grounds present in my coffee thanks to the addition of the Aeropress filters as recommended in James Hoffmann's video). So the end result is that I feel like I'm getting enough coffee now with the Bialetti Moka Express 6-cup, whereas before I was thinking I would have to buy a bigger pot. That change is a result of the 1ZPresso K-Ultra--a truly awesome product.

Amazing grinder!
I Love this grinder. My wife drinks espresso (3.5 setting) I drink pour over black coffee (8.5 setting) this grinder easily goes back and forth between the settings. It will yield 30 grams of coffee. STATIC ELECTRICITY WARNING. I did find that if you try and pour the freshly ground coffee right away there is static electricity and it makes a mess. I just wait 3 minutes and it goes away and dumps fine. So I’ll grind my coffee and warm my water and it’s just fine. But it was making a mess at first until I figured that out. Here is what I do: Strong pour over 30grams of coffee 420 grams of filtered water (Brita or better) 195 degree water Pour the water in 85gram steps spaced 30 seconds apart. It’s a game changer! Cheers

Great grinder.
Great grinder. After two years of using it on average of twice per day, it still seems to work great. My only complaint is the wooden knob now comes off easily - the tiny tension bar inside has bent (think of how a snap on your favorite jeans works) and it no longer holds tight. It's not a huge deal, grinder still works perfectly, just don't drop it in your beans when you're weighing them (don't ask).

Quiet and smooth
Smooth and comftable. expensive but should last me a very long time. It's quiet to use so I don't wake up the house, and the aroma it creates is almost as good as the coffee.
