Gold star for the gold coin
Took a while to arrive but it was within the estimated time frame so can’t complain. Product was enjoyed by the person who ate it and it looks good and also had a good shelf life.

Big funny chocolate pound
Good big coin. Obviously the thickness is not in proportion to the other dimensions, but it’s a substantial, weighty coin of chocolate and is pound-coin-like enough for its increased size to be amusing.

Big, Beautiful, Chocolate Pound Coin. Put your money where your mouth is!
Exactly as it looks on the product photo, this oversized, gold foiled Belgian milk chocolate coin measures 5" diameter and is a quarter of an inch thick. Weighs 90g and has minimum 28% cocoa solids - so there's quite a bit of choccy here, and if we're counting, this will give you around 450 calories. Eeek.Gold foil wrapping is strong and the embossing (both sides) is excellent. Good colour, similar to the cash coins and this comes nicely gift wrapped in white tissue with a scripted label, so it all looks quite posh. This is a stocking filler for my OH, so I can't comment on the taste of this coin yet - but I have had chocolate from this Belgian chocolatier (Albert Premier) before, and it's decent chocolate, smooth and sweet. Not luxury quality - but then again, this was bought as a novelty product, and as such completely fulfils expectations. The Best Before on this (bought in November '17) is end of June '18, but it will probably have been eaten before Boxing Day!
