I have many, if not all, of Debbie Bliss' books. there is a lovely jacket in here that inspired me to spring for the Rialto Chunky and and get started, and I am sure there are others that I will make as well. Be aware that many are intermediate to advanced projects, combining cables, garments construction techniques and design features that a beginner will have trouble doing without help.

Very beautiful, inspirational book.

Beautiful cables for men, women and children. Socks to coat and dress patterns. Good variety. Patterns are charted and written out.

Lots of lovely patterns but most of them are charts not instructions. If I had known this I wouldn’t have bought it as I hate charts

If your bust size is small (less than 40inch - 100cm) - enjoyIf however your bust is larger, but your waist fits under 32inches (80cm), you have to recalculate every pattern.Therefore the ideas given are quite nice but most of the time I have to recreate the pattern from scratch - which of course is really creative ;-DApart from this very personal statement, about 30% of the patterns are published in different books. Have a look at handbooks for design from Debbie Bliss and you will find some of the patterns there. Because these books give you hints in adjusting the patterns to your figure, I recommend to buy one of those.

Not what I thought it would be...thought it was Debbie Bliss designs, but the designs are other people's, using Debbie Bliss' yarns. Some of the codes for the charts were not printed, so I will have to figure it out myself. Ah well...should have read the small print before ordering....

As usual, Debbie has created a beautiful book, filled with innovative designs!I was delighted to get it from this seller as MUCH cheaper than other suppliers! Well done! Now, where is my wool order?
