Cold Purchase
This refrigerator really stands out when it comes to space and flexibility. The 31 cu. ft. mega capacity makes a noticeable difference—you can easily store bulk groceries, tall items, and still keep everything organized without feeling cramped. One of the most impressive features comes at a small cost… the upper of the dual ice maker system takes away a bit of precious real estate upstairs. However having four different ice options—cubed, crushed, curved, and Ice Bites—adds a level of customization you don’t usually see. Whether you’re hosting or just want the “right” ice for your drink, it delivers. The design is sleek and modern, with curved handles and stainless finish and recessed freezer handle that blends nicely into our kitchen. It feels high-end without being overly flashy. And best of all it’s quiet!!! Cooling performance is solid as well. The metal cooling panel helps maintain consistent temperatures, which keeps food fresher for longer and avoids those annoying warm spots. Overall, this is a feature-packed, spacious, and modern refrigerator that delivers on both performance and convenience. A great choice if you want capacity and customization.

Unreliable and Very Poor Customer Service
I have purchased my last Samsung product. After about 10 months, the handle to the lower freezer door of our new refrigerator broke off. When I contacted customer service for a warranty repair, it was initially declined, saying that the broken off handle was a “cosmetic issue“ not covered under the warranty. After working my way up the chain of consumer service employees, I finally got a supervisor to acknowledge that the broken handle is not just cosmetic and they reluctantly sent a service repair man to do the work under the warranty. Now, five years and six months after the purchase, the 10 year warranted compressor of my refrigerator burned out, so I called for a warranty repair. It was at that point that I was told that the compressor itself was covered for 10 years, but the labor to install it is only warranted for five years and, of course, I’m six months beyond that date. So, I reluctantly agreed to let them send a Samsung warranty repair man to our house and had to pay a $140 fee before they would even schedule the appointment. When the repair man arrived, he confirmed the bad compressor but said it would cost over $1000 to replace it because the compressor is part of a sealed unit. The compressor, which could be a rebuilt one under the terms of Samsung‘s warranty, would be free, but we would have to eat the entire cost for the installation. It does not make sense to invest over $1000 in what has already proved to be an unreliable refrigerator. Samsung quality and customer service is extremely lacking and very frustrating. A refrigerator should last more than five years. Look for a different brand.

Good overall.
Little delay or slight problem selecting water and ice from the dispenser - have to press the buttons a couple times to toggle between the option you want. Slight misalignment on the french door handles, left is just slightly higher. Not many shelf height adjustment options, our older samsung fridge had much more interior versatility. Only ONE star off as the most important part - The fridge and freezer both work great. Like the option of 4 types of ice.

Poor design
Don’t buy. It so difficult to clean these refrigerators you will be so disappointed. I had to use tools to separate the two drawer pieces with a screwdriver to clean the overlap with food trapped in between. Called customer support and has me use the screwdriver and I couldn’t get them separated. I asked the representative if the drawer would be replaced if I broke it while following her instructions and she said that I would have to purchase it since the warranty had already expired. When finally opened it, three small pieces of plastic when out flying and now that piece is loose and comes off. I am going to have to glue it and seal the part that overlaps or something. But what a headache. Such poor design and no empathy from customer service at all.

No ice!
If you’re looking for a refrigerator that pretends to have an ice maker, congratulations—you’ve found your soulmate. I bought this fridge thinking I was stepping into the luxurious world of automatically chilled beverages. Instead, I entered a never-ending tragic comedy titled: “Frozen Expectations: The Ice Maker Chronicles.” Our ice maker has broken five times. Not once, not twice—five. Like a clingy ex, it keeps coming back just long enough to remind me why I hate it. Each time, I had to take off work, wait around for a technician, and listen to them confidently declare, “All fixed!” only to watch it die again like a soap opera character with a flair for dramatic exits. Let’s do the math: • Ice? Minimal. • Missed work? Five times. • Emotional damage? Ongoing. • Trust in Samsung? Zero At this point, I’ve formed a deeper relationship with my ice cube trays than this “state-of-the-art” appliance. They don’t let me down. They don’t require service calls. And they don’t ghost me after three cubes. How many people have broken Samsung ice makers? So many, there was a class action lawsuit. (Google it) Save yourself the heartache. Unless you’re into disappointment, warm drinks, and unpaid time off, steer clear of Samsung. This fridge doesn’t make ice—it makes memories you’ll need therapy for.

LOUSY REFRIGERATOR!
If I could rate Samsung refrigerators with less than 1 star, I’d do it in a New York minute. My wife and I inherited a Samsung refrigerator a few ago after we bought a home. It was only two years old. The previous owners had the refrigerator repaired twice. My wife and I over the first year owning the home had it repaired twice. I told my wife that if we had to have it repaired again, it’s gone. Within three months, the refrigerator died again, we pitched it and bought a Whirlpool refrigerator. We’ve never looked back. Our appliance repairman loves Samsung refrigerators. He said the company makes great TV’s, though!
