Toys Pure Goki Top with Whip

I sent this item as a gift to my Mum. She'd talked about the classic games she had as a child and spoke of fond memories with a 'Whip n Top'. Well, she was delighted when she received this today! The quality is really good and, she explained to me why there was coloured chalk. They were for colouring the top so that when it spins (with practice!) it makes coloured rings!Delighted and she's so happy with it. I've had a go and it is far funnier than I realised!Highly recommended even for modern big kids with electronic gadgetry!

FANTASTIC , JUST LIKE THEY USED TO BE, CANNOT FIND FAULT , ONLY THING I CAN SAY IS IT USED TO BE LEATHER STRING ON WHIP.

I bought this as a gift it received a great reception!! The only thing which would improve it would be a leather thong for the whip as the cotton is too thick to get a good spin from!!Can recommend it.

Leather strap feels to thick. Strap broke after first use but was able to replace it with string ,what was used in years past when we had them in the sixties . plus side was the bonus pack of chalk for the top .

Works well for showing children olden day style toys. It was cheap and does work when you get the hang of it. Children loved it!

Wouldn’t bother with this. The string won’t ‘whip’ the top.Bought for a present.Disappointing

not the expect "retro" top I was expecting. String on whip was too flimsy to use - it was ordinary string and had no weight in order to whip the top
