Q: I have a build up of aluminum completely encasing 4-5 teeth of the blade. Is there a best way to remove this apparently melted on aluminum?

Sounds like your blade is dull or you are feeding it into the blade too quickly or a combination of both. You can probably remove the aluminum with a "pick" tool of some sort.

It cuts a 1 1/2 inch solid nylon block and 3/8 aluminum like butter on my table saw I imagine it would work the same on a chop saw
