Love them
So comfortable, so good-looking! I've had Danskos before, I feel these ran a bit big: I am wearing a 38 and usually wear 39. But I have worn them nearly daily and am so glad I bought them!

Walkers delight
Loved my professional shoes but as I get older needed more ankle support. These boots feel like the shoes and have rhe support for ankles. I have arthritis in the ball of my foot so walking around becomes very painful. With the strong sole I was able to walk miles over cobble stone and uneven ground throughout a river cruise on the Rhine. Because of the "rocking" sole my arthritis never bothered me and I never rolled my ankles. These boots were very stable and comfortable. There was one issue that did occur. After 10 days of walking my feet started to swell. This caused my bunion to rub against the stitching where the elastic and leather meet. I then started wearing my tennis shoes, with orthotics, and my feet got very tired and my arthritis flared up. So happy with this purchase! Highly recommend these boots! They are effective,, comfortable and very cute.

Comfortable and Stylish
I wear these for work in a very busy clinic. They're my go to shoes for work. They are so comfortable and just what I need for my flat feet. I had to break them in as they were tight around the front of my ankle for the first few days of wear, otherwise, they're perfect! I'd buy another pair in the future for sure! Thank You Jesus!

Beware anyone with high insteps!
I’ve had my eye on these boots for ages, and finally decided to treat myself for Christmas. I was surprised by how tight they were due to my high insteps, so breaking them in has been a very slow and uncomfortable process. For several weeks I have worn them indoors only, then for short walks outdoors. They’re still rather snug fitting, but now loose enough to wear out & about for short periods of time. My only other complaint is that the loop on the back is too small to fit even my little finger in, which makes the loops pointless in helping to pull them on.I’m hoping that they will continue to loosen up and become more comfortable with time. I just wanted to leave a review because although I don’t have wide feet, my high insteps made me seriously consider returning these cute, well constructed Chelsea boots despite how much I like them!

Dansko's done it again! Even for shorter, wider calves, the elastic is just right.
I already knew I loved my Dansko clogs and could walk all day in them. I was trying to get a jodhpur type bootie. All those from other vendors that I tried were too tight in the ankle as I am somewhat short (5'3") with strong calves and even the slightly taller ankle height of such boots would constrain my calves or rub them angrily. Not these. They are so comfy I could wear them to bed. The oiled leather even survived a recent ocean surge that doused me head to toe and filled the shoes with salt water and pebbles. I rinsed them quickly with a little fresh water and dried them. They withstood the accidental test beautifully!

Way more volume than other Danskos: not supportive
I have loved the Dansko clogs I've had: I wear them around the house, standing to teach all day, on short (up to 2 mile) walks. They're the ONLY shoe that doesn't make my feet tired in an 8-hour day standing in a classroom/doing pickup duty, etc. So I was excited to see the same base with the boot top.But I think buying Danskos is a little like having a baby: it's expensive and you don't know exactly what you'll get with each one. I've currently have 2 other pairs of Dansko clogs, and I always wear a 40 (narrow). One of these current pairs is pretty snug on the top of my foot: I have to wear my thinnest socks and "warm them up" each time I put them on. I've had them stretched. The other pair is comfy-loose, and they fit well like a foot-hug when I wear medium-weight hiking socks. Both are stable, not "floppy," and have that classic "one finger behind the heel" fit.I ordered these Frankie boots because reviewers generally said they were a supportive fit, a "narrower" fit, and people could walk a long way in them. I was a little worried that they would cut into my ankles as they did for some people. They didn't--it was a miracle (they fully covered my anklebones--I included the collar (cuff?) height measurements at the end if that's useful for anyone!). But the right-side boot in particular felt HUGE in volume compared to either of the Dansko clogs I have: the length is correct, but there is so much room above the foot and around the opening that it's a sloppy, uncomfortable feel. In trying them out up and down my hall, I switched to my thickest socks, but my toes slipped up with each stride so after a few times trying them out, I could feel the strain in my arches. I put my old Danskos on for comparison, and those felt solid and comfy again. Danskos are supposed to have up-and-down movement in the heel of course, but not floppiness/slipping top to bottom. They should feel secure around the mid-foot.I finally put a little-kid knit glove on top of my foot and slid it back in the shoe: this made the boot feel way more secure like it's probably supposed to fit. I guess I could fiddle around with foam inserts/Moleskin to adhere to the top of the boot to try to make this secure fit more permanent, but the top of the shoe has this nice swoop shape and who knows if I could find something that would fit smoothly. If I had maybe (?) been able to try these on in person and get several Frankie boots side-by-side, I could have switched them up to try multiple individual size 40s (that's what I usually have to do to get consistency at a shoe store in Danskos). There is such variability in individual Dansko shoes that I have to return these. I guess I'll be sticking to only buying them in person whenever casual shopping feels safe again! For people who are interested in the bootie's top HEIGHT, though (to see if it will hit under, at, or above your ankle bone), I couldn't find measurements for this anywhere, so here you go:From bottom of shoe (inside, where your foot rests) ) to the top of the leather at that little tab to the rear of your ankle: 3 3/16 inches; for comparison, my (low) ankle bone bottom is at 2 1/4 inches and these didn't hurt my ankles because they were totally covered. There IS an interior seam running down from on either side of the elastic on the sides that might also rub your ankle inside the boot, but this didn't bother me.

I wondered??? Now I Love My Boots
When I intially put these on they felt snug (width wise), interestingly it is my small foot that felt the tightest and I wondered "Should I send them back". Decided to wear them around the carpeted office for a week first and am so glad I did, cause they are just getting more and more comfortable. Love My Boots

Best shoes ever!!!
I love these boots! I’ve only gotten to wear them a few times because it’s been quite warm out but they fit like a dream and dansko is the most comfortable and best quality brand I’ve ever experienced. Usually on the pricey side but always worth it.

Cute alternative to standard clogs
I’m a professional chef and work long hours on my feet. I found these to be supportive and comfortable to wear in the kitchen.
