Seem to be sweat resistant.
After trying to search for sweat resistant bluetooth headphones for working out, I decided to give these a try. Unlike most other similar devices, these fit over the top of your head like a traditional set of headphones.I found many good things about this product and a few negatives. However, the good things out-weighed the negatives for me and I like these headphones so far. It remains to be seen how long they last with regards to being damaged by excess sweat. I owned the Motorola S10-HD head set and while more comfortable, was damaged by sweat only after a little over a month's use and is now useless.Pros:- Light design.- Comes with a carrying case.- Over the top of the head.- Seem to be sweat resistant.- Decent sound.- Easily paired with an iPod.- No trouble reconnecting with the iPod each time I go to use them.- Excellent distance!Cons:- Can be uncomfortable (especially if you don't have much hair on the top of your head for padding like me).- A little pricey ($50 would have been a better price point)- Battery only seems to last 4 to 6 hours before recharging.- Speakers can be uncomfortable on the ears and take getting used to.Overall, I have been satisfied with these headphones. It took a little bit of adjusting to get used to fitting them on my head. As I mentioned, the folding hinges are not comfortable if you have less hair (like me). A little tweaking and they seem to be OK.The ear pieces themselves are a different design and take a little getting used to. At this point, I am OK with them and have my set adjusted to be tolerable while working out.Because of the over the head design, it seems like sweat does not get into the device which in turn could damage the circuitry. I am hopeful these will last a while for me.The battery isn't great but in looking at the design, the manufacturer probably couldn't put too big a battery in anyway. I can get about 5 hours or so out of a charge. It comes with a USB cable that you can use with your computer/laptop or with a wall charger that has a USB connector. I use a wall charger. The biggest plus I should mention is the distance. These headphones seem to work over quite a distance for me. No signal degradation or drop out. I was impressed with the range of the transmitter on these. Also, they paired right up with my iPod without too much trouble and they reconnect every time I turn them on.

Not sweat resistant as advertised.
I would not recommend buying these headphones for someone looking to use them while working out or jogging. They are not sweat resistant and after 3-5 uses they stopped working and the battery would no longer charge. I exchanged the first set thinking it was just a one-off defect but the replacement set also stopped working after about 5 workouts. As such, I called it quits and returned the 2nd set for a refund. I was disappointed that these did not work, as the sound quality was very decent and the wireless technology provided a lot of flexibility while working out at the gym.Bottom line, I would avoid these until the technology is improved.

Nearly perfect
I have only a few minor complaints about this product. I was looking for a headset without any wires, because I find that after a few months of using a headset (either wired or Bluetooth) that the wires are what tend to have trouble for me. This unit has absolutely no external wiring whatsoever. I think it is a very rugged unit and I am not at all concerned about it lasting much longer than the headsets I have used in the past. The unit is a horseshoe shaped band which fits snugly over your head, with lobes protruding out which insert into your ears similar to ear buds. Depending upon the size of your ears, you may find the fit uncomfortable. I find the lobes to be slightly larger than my ear, which initially made for some discomfort, but with continued use the discomfort has mostly disappeared.I am not an audiophile, but I found the sound to be very good. The volume is more than enough for me, and I found the treble and bass to be good. If you are a heavy bass person, they may not have enough for you.The controls are on either side, near the lobes which insert into the ears. Volume up and down are on one side, while the back/stop/forward buttons are on the other ear. I found them to be very easy to operate, and it didn't take very long to remember which side was which. The batteries are sufficient for roughly 5 hours of music. A USB to micro-USB cable is provided for charging. If you want an AC adapter you need to buy your own. I haven't timed the charging time, but if you charge overnight it will certainly be charged in the morning. Each side of the band folds so that the unit forms a "D" shape and fits into a zippable case. That is my other complaint about the device, the case is slightly small for the unit. It does fit, but it really feels like you are stuffing it into the case and MAKING it fit, not a good feeling for electronics. If the case was only slightly larger this could have been avoided.I have not attempted to use this device for phone calls, so I can offer no opinions on this function. I use it mainly for listening to music while exercising, and for that purpose it works very well.UPDATE - After less than a year of use, the power button on the device has failed. Therefore I am reducing my rating on the device.

Like the product but doesn't hold up to sweat very good
I really liked this headset and wanted to give it a 5 star, but.....they don't hold up to heavy sweating. Very comfortable fit and on a scale of 1-10 the sound quality was a 7. It could use a little more volume. Battery life was so so. I went through 2 pairs of these and each one failed after 3 work outs. I am speculating it was sweat that got them. They would just quit working. Sometime they would start working again after a few days but were very intermittent after the first failure. If they had held up to the sweat I would be using them now. If you are not a heavy sweater then they may work fine for you.I have been using the Jaybird JF3MB Freedom Bluetooth Buds for over 2 months now and they have not failed me yet. And their sound quality is a 10 on a scale of 1-10.
