High quality mechanism, easy to install. Works perfectly even with my 50" tv.

This is a fantastic piece of kit, made in Poland and very well built. It enabled us to do exactly what we needed to: which was move our TV from a high viewing position right down to the floor, leaving as much space as possible cleared for our wall-mounted cinema screen. Extremely quick and simple to put together and fitted securely to both the wall and floor using the sturdy mounts supplied. We had tried another TV lift before this and whilst it was good, it wasn't quite as well designed and didn't allow us to maximise the space we had. This one however did, 100% of it, meaning we were able to opt for a larger screen. Had it for 6 months now and it's worked flawlessly throughout, and apparently the guarantee is 5 years which adds peace of mind. Overall can't fault it.

This TV lift is built to a very high standard using thick gauge steel and aluminium and is really easy to assemble. The instructions also use good English. There are several nice touches: - The top clamp is seperate and felt lined. (It means at positioning is not that critical). - There is also a felt covered guard on top which I assume is to open a lid. - The operation has a soft start and slow finish which adds a touch of class. - The stop positions both at the top and bottom are programmable. Simply press “Setup” for a few seconds and then select the height with the controller and press “setup” again to fix the program. You can do this as often as you like. - I wanted to check something and contacted the Sabaj office. I got a really helpful e-mail very quickly. - Each section of the telescopic lift has what look like PTFE guides in each corner. Not the cheapest option so I was pleased to see that. - It’s quiet. Yes, you can hear it but do consider how powerful it is so some motor whine is inevitable. Finally, the remote is radio so no need to point. I believe other options are available but this works for me.

My other and better half wanted more space on the dressing table bit of our built in wardrobes in our bedroom and happened to say “what about.....”. I jumped on the chance, did my research and found this product. Ordered it Thursday (being from Poland) it arrived Saturday! It arrived in perfect condition and what a bit of kit it is..... I had to pull the dressing table section forwards to create the space to fit the stand and television but we now have a 49” TV hidden away in our bedroom which appears at the push of a button! 🙂 Well made, easy to fit and quiet. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking about a similar project 10/10.

I bought this to fit into a cabinet that I custom made to go on our bedroom. I made the cabinet using a substantial wooden frame because I was worried about the thing toppling over when at full extension and because I didn't want to screw it to the floor. Everything came well packaged and there was no damage to any of the supplied parts. The whole thing looks well made and isn't at all flimsy, all the parts are made from 2-3mm steel. And painted with a good layer of black paint. Two problems (minor for me) I had with assembly: The horizontal beam that fixes to the top of the column is secured by 4 Allen screws, on mine two of these screws didn't line up with the threads and wouldn't screw in. One seemed to have too much paint around the hole and the on the other the hole was drilled a bit off. Both needed a little filing to get the screws in properly. Not a problem for me but better quality control would have sorted this. The second problem was with the lower brackets on the vertical beams (which are attached to the TV) by 3mm cross head machine screws. These were very tight to screw in and felt like they were cross threading but I think, again, it was the amount of paint in the threaded holes. The assembly instructions imply that the lower brackets should already be fitted but they aren't. The holes really needed to be tapped after painting. Again, a QC issue. The motor operates smoothly and quietly and takes about 30 seconds to raise/lower the TV. I imagine the two minor issues mentioned above wouldn't be a problem for most people who bought this kind of product seeing as they'd probably be building a cabinet for it and would have a reasonable level of practical competence to deal with it. Deducted one star for inconvenience.

I’m very impressed with the Sabaj K-1 motorized TV lift mechanism. It works smoothly and quietly, raising and lowering my TV effortlessly every time. It handles my 49″ screen well with no wobble. Installation was straightforward, and the mount feels solid and well-made. The remote control is easy to use, and the whole mechanism feels reliable and durable. It’s a great solution for hiding the TV when not in use and creating a cleaner, more modern setup. Overall this lift performs exactly as expected and has been a fantastic addition to my entertainment space!
