This was a replacement for the one I lost, I find it really good both in the country for looking at birds, trees etc and in the city for reading signs and looking at details, I go on history walks and it often gets passed round as we try to read details on buildings I am visually impaired, and use a monocular as I have low vision in one eye and no central vision in the other, it's a great help, and obviously there's no point in binoculars, those with good eye sight might find it useful when travelling, as a telescope that fits into a belt bag I just wonder when so much Eschenbach equipment is aimed at visually impaired people it is all in matt black cases we can't easily locate

handy pocket size monocular good clarity.

Very clear view, also great field of view for such a compact device, which would lessen if the 8X version was purchased, very easy to use and focus, focus slips a little when device returned to case, this is no problem however, because as I have previously mentioned, focusing is a doddle.

Convenient size and clear view but focus slips if monocular moved from eye to hanging by cord.
