Bioshock (Xbox 360)

I am only past the first couple of hours of stepping into this brilliant game and am enjoying every minute of it so far !The atmosphere of the game really sucks you into it and it is a very high quality immersive experience.The visual and audio quality of this game really sets a high standard in enjoying this adventure.I have really enjoyed the way the background of the city is being told to you throughout your journey through your partner on radio phone and audio diaries of the unfortunate citizens. The atmosphere is not broken by going into video graphics cut scenes , everything is game graphics and is gorgeous .... well in a grotesque kind of way ....In the first level of the game , you might actually think the game is too dark to see anything , but don't worry ... as the game goes on you'll become used to it and agree that the dim lighting of the dark levels really suits the horrific nature of this game.This game can also be quite scary at times too .... the dark atmosphere and immersive experience of this game is among the best in single player first person shooters I've seen on 360. It really pulls you into this creepy world.Some enemy encounters truly are chilling to the bone .Pretty much , this is probably the best single player shooter on 360, this is the game to buy if you like shooters, but don't care much about multiplayer.Some may say having no multiplayer is a let down , but the single player experience is so enjoyable, I don't actually care there's no multiplayer mode. ( Which is rare for me , because multiplayer is usually what I care for most when it comes to shooters )I think this game will have great replay value even after I complete it for the first time.I love the rush of fear this game gives me at times ... .hehe ....The controls are also easy to get to grips with and the gameplay is solid.There is great balance and variety between the weapons and super powers in the game. So much variety , a second play is very likely with the numerous powers and weapons at your disposal ... you'll probably want to try out the stuff you didn't bother with in your first game.This game is as fun as it is thrilling.The quality of this game and the experience it gives you is the new benchmark of next gen shooters, I hope 360 has load of titles of this caliber to come.GOW was last years big hit setting new standards for next gen experience , this years big hit standard setter/breaker must surely be BioShock. ( Of course not including Halo 3 .... but everybody is expecting greatness from that title , so that's a given )This game has quickly become a firm favourite in my 360 library and a true classic among console shooters even with the absence of multiplayer.Easily the best Single player FPS I've played.And normal standard TV users will be able to enjoy it fully too ,as is presented in full frame ratio too.

This is one of the most amazing games I have ever had to play. 2K games went above and beyond to create a masterpiece in first person shooters. With its smooth gameplay to the incredible visual imagery, this game has it all.I was not expecting much from this purchase as most of my second hand buys often turn up more damaged than described and often unplayable but this was one I am happy to say arrived in almost perfect condition.The case was a little scratched but the book and disk were perfect. I was so please to have this game back in my hands once again to really enjoy this amazing game.The delivery was fast and as explained I was overjoyed with the item itself. I highly recommend this seller.

Game pretty good, download the updates before u start playing (makes the game more fun)Delivery not great compare to other sites 1-2 days longer and i had to pay for it aswell.

Since I'am into a lot of fps games I buyed this game and I'am really pleased with it the storyline is great and you get a lot of upgrades to use like telekinesis simple makes you grab anything and toss it at anything.The controls can be a really bother to you but when you learn the basics you find it as easy as any other game you play.They is a lot of healing item you can carry on you by 9 which to me seems to be a lot.You also which I hate in this game is the thing of hacking a machine it's like a jigsaw you move the pieces around to fit the other parts in order to complete the stage and you get rewards for them too.This is a awesome game right back at the start up til the end, try you won't be disappointed.

This is an excellent game but sadly the 3 stars is for the CD quality. This is a late review but thought i would post and share.I bought this game sometime ago and having reached the final few stages of the game, it unfortunately keeps crashing on one particular level. Cleaning the CD does not correct this nor does restarting etc.It really is a great game and would recommend it just make sure the CD quality is good otherwise you will never know what happens at the end.Hope this is useful

This is an amazing video game, I highly recommend you to buy it, it has a good story telling, the experience is great, the game looks gorgeous graphically, the gameplay is fun and I've had so much!

I bought the game based on word of mouth from friends who said the game was good... how wrong were they! The storyline was difficult to follow, and the game to unrealistic. The only thing stopping me giving it 1 star was the graphics; after all, they were not that bad.

I bought the game and it said it was PAL. I got it and it was NTSC. What use is a NTSC game in the UK? I have bought a game that I can't play.

Habe Spiele wie Timeshift, G*** of ***, The Darkness etc aber dieser Shooter ist meiner Meinung nach einer der Besten. Die Atmosphäre ist wahnsinn, ich dachte eigentlich nicht, dass dieses Art Deko mir gefallen könnte, aber je länger man spielt umso bezaubernder wird die bizarre Verstrickung von Shooter und dem Stil der 60er Jahre. Steuerung, Grafik und Sound, alles umwerfend. Lediglich die auffindbaren Tonbänder nerven ein wenig, da sie nicht immer abgespielt werden und das Hacking ist manchmal sehr mühsam und verbraucht viele Medi-Kits. Eigentlich mag ich ja keine Shooter mit Medi-Kits, aber hier sind diese fair und gut im Game untergebracht. Es ist eines der wenigen Spiele, die ich über 1h am Stück spielen kann ohne dass Langeweile aufkommt.Definitive Kaufempfehlung (als Uncut versteht sich!)

Alle Teile von dem Spiel BioShock sind unglaublich brilliant !!! in einer Unheimlichen Unterwasser Welt im 50ger Jahre Style ! Kann man komplett durchdrehen und mit ElektroShocks seine gegner festhalten und auf brutalste Weise killen. Eines der besten Shooter Games aber auch eines der Games wo die STORY einem unter die Haut geht, und die einem bis zum Ende des Spiels fesselt. !!! GAME OF THE YEAR!!!! US und Canada Version of the Game is PAL Compatible! ;)

Ziemlich düster und blutig, für freunde der Retrofuturistik oder des Steampunk-Genres aber genau das richtige.Die Steuerung ist intuitiv und man wird nach und nach herangeführt ohne allzu nervige tutorials.Die Story bleibt spannend, auch wenn es hie und da einige Längen gibt.

Hab selten ein Spiel gesehen, was so stimmig und atmosphärisch ist, wie Bioshock.Hinter jeder Ecke lauert eine Überraschung. Es gibt einige Stellen, an denen man ordentlich erschreckt, also nichts für schwache Nerven.Insgesamt eines der besten Spiele für die XBox 360.
