Not much to say about a switch like this. But they are solid with a good click when switched. They won't accidentally switch and with a loud click and solid movement you know you switched it on or off.

I got this as a power switch for a wood kiln that I am building in my basement. Of course I took it apart. The rocker itself appears to be polycarbonate. The switch housing appears to be ABS (could be wrong here). The spring loaded contacts appear to be robust enough to really handle 30A and are silver plated. No skimping on materials or design. The light source seems to be neon rather than LED.I tested this switch as a 120VAC device. To use with the lighting feature on the switch you need to connect bot hot and neutral to the power part of the switch. The switch light is turned on along with the load. I did not test as a 240VAC switch. For AC either side of the left side or right side can be the not or the neutral. You can use the switch on only the hot side as a SPST but because there is no voltage difference to power the light.I really don't like it when products are misrepresented. Two misrepresentations. First it is neon not LED. Second, this was described as useful for cars and boats, both of which are more likely to be DC than AC. I did test and verified that this switch would not light with DC, though the switch itself would work. I took off one star for this as well as a lack of documentation about how to wire.

This is a set of 2 AC switches that work great. The package only includes the switches and has no documentation on the terminals. Another reviewer kindly included the arrangement of the Line / Load sides of the switch to clarify the installation methods. Thanks to them for doing so. The manufacturer does not have any such marking. For the price, these are handy for various uses. I'm using them on my pellet grill with a plug/cord for power but no switch for the control panel. This means the grill must be unplugged every time you are done with the smoker. This allows me to leave the smoker in place and plug it in... I will switch the power off like a typical appliance. Good Switches.

The switches I received are not illuminated as other reviews have mentioned. One person said they have a nice click to them, but in my opinion it sounds/feels like you're breaking cheap plastic every time you toggle them. Definitely not the best switches I've bought. I'll give them a chance but unless they blow me away I'm going to stick with 3 stars.

While these say they fit my vehicle, I'm not sure what they would be replacing. I used one to replace a power switch on a muffle furnace. They don't appear to get warm when controlling significant amounts of power. They have a positive snap with good tactile feedback. The furnace isn't used frequently, so I expect these to last the rest of the life of the device.

they work well as new. the durability of these no name electrical things can be hit or miss, and ill revise the review in after some use.

I no longer own the car that Amazon says this switch is compatible with, so I can't confirm or deny that. I had hopes that this would be a direct replacement for a Marshall JCM 800 or 900 amplifier. It's just a little too big for that application. I'm not concerned though because I build amps with parts like this all the time. These will be put to good use in my Dumble inspired tube amp. These are solid, sturdy plastic, and the internal red light (I suspect is neon) is going to be perfect for my needs.I'm going to put this in my wish list for when I need to come back for more!
