ARIATWomen's Canyon Boot

I've had these boots a couple of months now--had to wait to write a better review. I LOVE THEM!BTW I am not paid in any way to sound like the world's biggest Ariat fan, but hey--if they want to hire me and pay me in their boots (or jeans), ... yes please!!!PROS:* FABULOUS soft, thick leather that looks great out of the box and will only look cooler with wear* great color: rich brown, very classic, not too light and not too dark* ROOMY TOE BOX (fit is similar to Keens before Keen decided to cramp up their toe boxes and make all their boots too narrow, besides... don't get me started on that). I have minor bunions on both feet, and the boots never bother them at all.* laces stay tied (I was worried) and allow for a great fit with socks of any weight.* great tread!* fits true to size (width and length), like all Ariat boots.* makes my size 8.5 feet look so adorable, I can't EVEN tell you!!! ;-)* the cute little retro/Western flap (which btw is easily removed if you want)* very reasonable price* I have word these with skinny jeans, regular jeans, shorts, overalls, and vaguely "boho" (?) dresses, and not only do I think they make every outfit better, I get compliments on them All The Time, from people way younger and more fashionable than I am.* 100% practical but darn cute, too, especially with the decorative stitching, which adds just the right touch, IMHOCONS:* uh... I guess maybe I will someday have some event I can't/shouldn't wear them to? Seriously, no cons.

I bought these to try for a horse camping trip in Wyoming. I wanted to be able to hike and ride in them. I really liked them, and went back and forth with another pair. Ultimately, I decided on a pair of Ariats that went higher up the ankle for more support, but it was a hard decision. Based on how ridiculously comfortable the other pair is, I think these would have been very comfortable as well. The toe box is nice and roomy, with plenty of space for my toes and bunions. They were good looking and seemed durable.

Ariat has a great boot design, and the boots last years if you take care of them. This is my 6th pair of this style boot. Bought 3 locally, and 3 from Amazon. They are comfortable and well made. Great stitching and leather. This last pair,7B, was slightly wider in the heel than the other pairs. I had to wear a thicker sock, as I got a blister on inside of each heel the first day. That's never happened with my other 5 pairs. It's an excellent day boot or work boot. Great laces that never broke on any pair. Lasts 2 to 3 years with hard outdoor work and much hiking. I wear out the soles, and stitching never broke. Very comfortable within a day or two. Waterproof if you use mink oil or silicone spray. Maintain shape even with daily hard use for years.

Sturdy, great toe box size, great leather, beautiful color, made for comfort in every way doesn't hurt your ankles your heels your arch or your toes, you can walk all day in these which I have been doing for weeks, and your feet never get sore.There is plenty of support, The latest never come untied, they're made for a woman's foot and the ankle part does not come up too high and it also does not rub anywhere that it shouldn't.ARIAT makes great products and I have other ariet boots, but this is the top pick of anything I have ever owned from this company.My last pair of Ariat boots which is a pull-on round toe cowboy boot style, is 20 years old and they're still in absolutely excellent condition.This is a company that makes shoes when I'm going to call the old fashioned way, the way they should be, and there's none of that memory foam crap in there to ruin your feet.So if you want something that's not going to ruin your feet but it's going to make your feet feel healthier, it's going to enable you to walk all day long, in comfort; look great with your pants or your skirts or whatever you're wearing, then you should get these boots.Now you can wear a light to medium weight sock in there and be super comfortable. I have some merino wool socks that I also have worn with these and they are fine.Ariat is the best shoemaker still in business.

This are nice sturdy work boots. I love the look and feel of the leather and the fit is so nice. As soon as a wore them for the first time it felt like I was weary a lot more shoe compared to my canvas hiking boots... they felt a little heavier in comparison but not too heavy, and not it a bad way. More like heavier because you have more shoe on. There wasn't a break-in period for these boots, they felt comfortable from they first time and still feel good. These are everyday work boots, I walk a lot on them and don't feel tired.

My first pair is still looking great—but I bought a second pair for wh n I need a really nice appearance. The leather is top quality and they hold up to hard use!

I love the fit, soles are what I need, the soles wear down after 3 or 4 months, but I do put about 5 miles a day on them,the only thing I really don't like is the square stitching on the side.

Super comfortable but ran a little too small. I had to return them.

Love the colour, love the fit. Fits exactly as my size. Love the quality of leather and the sole is thick but bends nicely. Not stiff at all.Couldn't be happier.
